Call of Duty: Warzone is making a strong statement regarding cheating problems in this latest major Battle Royale F2P game. Infinity Ward, the developer of the game recently released a blog post that declares a "zero tolerance" attitude towards cheaters.

Warzone devs are hard at work to tackle cheating problems in the game

Infinity Ward declared that they have already dealt out "50,000 permabans worldwide" since the game's release. They employ 24/7 security teams whose task it is to "investigate data and identify potential infractions", as in sniffing out cheaters wherever they are.

How is cheating being tackled in Call of Duty: Warzone?

What these security teams do is "review all possible cheats and hacks", such as wallhacks and aimbots, etc. Call of Duty: Warzone will also have a better in-game cheat reporting system so players can clamp down on cheaters, too.

Security teams are hard at work to weed out workers wherever they are

Infinity Ward declared that they take cheating in Call of Duty: Warzone "very seriously", to ensure the gaming experience for veryone is as level and fair as possible. The company said that this is something they have been working hard on, but did not discuss publicly. Presumably, this is to avoid cheaters finding their ways around the security measures.

Here are the programs that Infinity Ward is implementing to better tackle cheating:

  • Our security teams monitor 24/7 to investigate data and identify potential infractions.
  • The teams review all possible cheats and hacks, this includes identifying use of aimbots, wallhacks and more.
There are clear programs and steps Infinity Ward is taking to fight cheating
  • We’re working to improve our in-game system for reporting potential cheating. Plans are underway to streamline the UI for a more seamless reporting experience.
  • For all reports that are received in-game, they are both analyzed and filtered based on key data.
  • Once investigations are complete, we will continue to work as quickly as possible to ban.

The company says they will provide "a regular count on the latest number of bans issued, as needed." All of these measures by Infinity Ward support the company's statement that they are "committed to ensuring a fun and fair experience for everyone."

Hopefully Infinity Ward can fix all the glitches and exploits, too
