What are some crazy Minecraft builds that you have come across? In the world of Minecraft, anything can happen. Some take time to turn the sandbox title into a horror dimension to scare other players. Others may choose to flaunt fantasy castles or gigantic statues. However, these names below might be the best craziest Minecraft builds we’ve ever seen.
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum
Recreating famous landmarks is a common building style in Minecraft. This one is the work of a Vietnamese gamer group that recreated the replica of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Hanoi city. These then-college freshmen had done some amazing works in great detail and showcased them to the world.
"We have recreated replicas of Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, the Independence Palace in HCMC, and other places in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city.”
This cool design took one week to complete.
Minecraft itself
When it comes to crazy Minecraft builds, we usually think of objects that exist in the game. However, this exception is something out of the ordinary.
A player spent months building Minecraft in Minecraft with a Redstone computer! The whole process took 7 months and the outcome managed to gain multi-million-view on YouTube.
Do note that this build does NOT operate in real-time. It runs on MCHPRS, a server created by StackDoubleFlow, which accelerates the game by approximately 10-20,000 times when running Redstone.
Underwater Sapphire City
Another candidate in our list of crazy big Minecraft builds is this underwater city.
Squity’s underwater city is inspired by ancient Greek architecture. As you explore this enchanting city, you'll encounter schools of fish, dolphins, and orca whales swimming among the grand towers and massive colosseums.
The surreal beauty of the scene is truly breathtaking, and the maker was 16 years old when this work came out.
“I love Greek and Roman architecture. I was searching through some pictures and I was impressed by statues in the roof of a Greek temple and decided to bring that aspect to my build.”
Massive Maze
Have you found yourself in an endless labyrinth? This massive maze by Forge Labs blows players’ minds away with how complicated it is.
You have to admire the sheer size of this map. It also shows incredible dedication and maybe love for the Maze Runner movies.
Nether Terraforming Project
Terraforming, or Earth-shaping, is a whole genre in Minecraft. It means transforming an entire biome or large area into something entirely different, such as turning a desert into a lush jungle or an ocean into a vast canyon.
In this case, Minecraft player Linard turned his Nether into a landscape that can fit anything he wants.
Van Gogh’s Starry Night
The craziest builds in Minecraft? Have you ever seen your favorite work of art turning into a real-life model, like this Starry Night painting?
The design took the creator, ChrisDaCow, a month to complete. Although it has no interior, the build itself can make any user’s jaw drop.
