With the Bundles of Bravery update, players can now discover a new biome in Minecraft: the Pale Garden. This eerie biome is a variant of the Dark Forest and is home to a variety of new blocks and creatures, including a new mob called The Creaking.
Fighting The Creaking can be challenging because it doesn’t take damage like other enemies in Minecraft. To defeat it, you’ll need to destroy a block called the Creaking Heart. Fortunately, Creaking Hearts are easy to find in the Pale Garden. This guide will show you how to find Creaking Hearts in Minecraft, as well as the way to use them.

What is A Creaking Heart in Minecraft?
A Creaking Heart is a living block that can either be crafted or found inside trees in the Pale Garden. It becomes active when placed between two pale oak logs. During nighttime or thunderstorms, it spawns a Creaking and shields it from all damage. However, breaking a Creaking Heart while it's protecting a Creaking will instantly kill the mob.
The primary function of the Creaking Heart in Minecraft is to spawn the Creaking mob at night or during a thunderstorm. Essentially, it acts as the "brain" that controls the Creaking’s appearance.
Please note that to stop the Creaking, you must first break its Creaking Heart.
The Creaking Heart not only spawns the Creaking mob at night but also makes them vanish during the day. If a Creaking strays too far from its heart, it will despawn, and the heart will summon a new Creaking nearby.
How to Find Creaking Hearts in Minecraft
To locate the Creaking Heart block, players will need to venture into the Pale Garden biome. There are a few ways to reach the Pale Garden, but the easiest method is by using the Locate Command.
Once you're in the Pale Garden, look for white Pale Oak Trees and check for a glowing orange spot on one of them — that's the Creaking Heart you're after. Be careful, though, as the Creaking mob could be nearby and may attack if you're not paying attention. Also, don't forget to enchant your tool with Silk Touch to collect the Creaking Heart.
Warning: The Creaking will only move when you're not looking at it, so your positioning is key to keeping it stationary. Be mindful of where you're facing to prevent it from wandering away.
For those who aren’t familiar, the Silk Touch enchantment in Minecraft allows blocks to drop as themselves rather than their usual items. Without Silk Touch, the Creaking Heart won’t drop anything when you try to harvest it. So, make sure your tool is enchanted with Silk Touch before searching for the Creaking Heart. Once you find it, break it with your enchanted tool to collect it, which will also eliminate the Creaking tied to it.
