This happened to Reddit user JamesChung, who amazed other players by finding eight diamond blocks while playing Minecraft. They already had diamond tools and said they were mining when they discovered this impressive vein, calling it "the biggest they've ever found." Although they didn't share the world seed or the depth of the discovery, they mentioned that they luckily found 21 diamonds in this vein.

While the Caves and Cliffs update improved mining for Minecraft players, later updates changed other parts of the game. This year, Mojang released two major updates.
