Blizzard Entertainment and Six Flags have officially unveiled Diablo: The Infernal Path, a new haunted maze attraction created to mark the Diablo franchise’s 30th anniversary. The experience will debut this fall at two Six Flags parks, giving fans a physical way to step into the dark world of Sanctuary.
The original Diablo launched in 1996 and has since drawn more than 100 million players across multiple titles. For the anniversary, the companies have partnered on the first official Diablo haunted house and maze. Guests enter after a catastrophic ritual fractures the barrier between worlds and releases ancient evil into Sanctuary. They then move through corrupted pathways and fiery environments filled with close-quarters encounters.
The Attraction Experience
Visitors will face some of the series’ most recognizable demons, including The Butcher, Duriel, Baal, Mephisto, Lilith, and Diablo himself, along with additional horrors drawn from the games. The maze is designed to recreate the franchise’s dark mythology and intense atmosphere while delivering the immersive scares expected at major Halloween events. Officials describe it as blurring the line between the game and reality.

The attraction combines the franchise’s legendary demons, dark mythology and intense atmosphere with the immersive scares our guests expect during HalloWeekends.”
Locations and Access
The maze will open at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, during HalloWeekends, which runs from September 17 through November 1, and at Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia, during Halloween Haunt. It has been built exclusively for these two parks. At Cedar Point it will replace the previous Blood Bath haunt near the Steel Vengeance roller coaster. The experience is included with each park’s Haunted Attractions Pass, which starts at $19 at Cedar Point. HalloWeekends admission itself is covered by regular park tickets or season passes.
This collaboration stands as one of Blizzard’s largest real-world Diablo projects to date and offers an unexpected expansion of the anniversary celebrations that have already included new classes, content updates, and events across Diablo IV, Diablo Immortal, and Diablo II: Resurrected.
