In Dungeon Defenders, our heroes have defeated the evil Old Ones and brought peace back to the beautiful land of Etheria. But the fight isn't over yet, the Old Ones is planning to make a comeback by traveling to the past and stop our heroes from achieving the victory. And that is your job here in Dungeon Defenders: Awaken. Once again, you will have to take on hordes of dark creatures on both old and new battlefields. Let check out the official beta launch trailer of Dungeon Defenders: Awaken.
As a tower defense game, you will be able to build different kinds of towers to fend off enemies. But that is not all, you will also be able to join the fight yourself as a hero, directly fighting against dark creatures. Will you be a Squire and put your life on the line? Or will you be a magical Apprentice and shred enemies from far away? The game can support up to 4 players so if you are the type of players who want to support then Monk and Huntress are the perfect options.
There is a total of 15 unique maps with different enemies that vary from orcs, spiders, skeletons to wyverns, ogres, dark elves. Killing enemies will earn you loot to upgrade your weapons, equipment, and pets. Of course, these are just small fries and you won't need to worry too much. The real challenge is the bosses, dragons, demons, and even goblin mechs.
Overall, Dungeon Defenders: Awakened is what every fan of love from the original Dungeon Defenders games, but with more locations, improved mechanics and upgraded visuals.
Dungeon Defenders: Awakened will be coming for Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam) in Q1 2020. The PS4 and Xbox One version will follow in Q2 2020.
