The deadly Mantis Blades can be rather expensive to pay in full when you're playing Cyberpunk 2077. However, if you know where to look, there is one way to get them for free. It's super easy, all you need is just a little bit of luck.
Whenever you feel ready, just head to the Corpo Plaza in the City Center. In the northwestern corner of the Plaza, there is a container that holds the mantis blades. Players can look for a side job to unlock the area and access the container.
However, the percentage of getting a pair of Mantis Blades is not 100%. That means it has a drop chance, everything depends on your luck. Here's a trick for that. Save the game before opening the container. Then, proceed to open the container. If the Mantis Blades are there, congratulations! If they aren't, simply reload to the save and try again.
Mantis Blades in Cyberpunk 2077
Players can modify the body of V in a plethora of ways in Cyberpunk 2077. Mods range from eye implants to skeleton changes and a rainbow of things in between. Mantis Blades are easily one of the deadliest body mods in the arm slot.
Players don't need to be proficient to wield a pair of the Mantis Blades. However, upgrading the Reflexes attribute tree gives tons of damage to Mantis Blades in general. Usually, you will get to a Ripperdoc at any location around Night City to implant this blade duo. It's fairly expensive and requires a minimum of 20 Street Cred Levels.
This pair of Mantis Blades is not just meant for close-range combats. They are also a lethal addition to your gun combo in Cyberpunk 2020. Take out any gangster who come near you in one fell swoop with the blades, then drop those afar with a revolver or sniper.
