GTA 6 is still planned to come out in Fall 2025, but Rockstar hasn't shared any updates for over a year. There are a few important dates we should watch for news about GTA VI and Rockstar Games.

When Can We Expect GTA 6 Updates?
Rockstar Games often releases major news about their upcoming games, like a trailer, right before Take-Two Interactive's quarterly earnings reports. Take-Two is the parent company of Rockstar Games. However, this doesn't happen every quarter, as we've seen three earnings reports without any news from Rockstar.
We're now in the year when GTA 6 is supposed to release, but there have been no updates since its reveal in December 2023. Many believe that the first quarterly earnings report of 2025 for Take-Two will include news about GTA 6, whether it's a trailer, screenshots, or a delay to 2026. If there is a delay, Take-Two will need to inform investors soon, as it would affect their earnings forecast.
Take-Two has not yet confirmed the date for their next earnings report, but it's likely to be around February 9th. This will be their Q3 2025 report. We'll share the official date once Take-Two announces it. The report for the next quarter should be around May 18th.
New GTA Online & PC Upgrades
This might be the final year of GTA Online in GTA V with full support. There's still more dripfeed content coming from the Agents of Sabotage DLC, but bigger updates are on the way. Rockstar confirmed late last year that they will bring PS5 and Xbox Series X|S exclusive features to PC sometime in "the new year." For now, we'll have to wait for more details.
There's a good chance Rockstar will release the usual Summer content update for GTA Online, likely in June or July, based on previous years. If GTA VI is delayed from Fall 2025 to 2026, we might also get another Winter update in December.
Rockstar Games Anticipating Services
Rockstar currently has a few titles on various subscription services, and these will be leaving their platforms sometime this year. GTA V and GTA Online were added to PlayStation Plus in November. Rockstar games usually stay on PS+ for a maximum of 6 months, so they should be removed by the end of May.
The Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy — The Definitive Edition version of GTA San Andreas is currently available with an active Netflix subscription. However, the streaming service lost the rights to offer GTA Vice City and GTA III in November last year, after having them for a year. It's unclear how long GTA San Andreas will stay on Netflix, so it's something to watch out for.
Rockstar Games Data
Game sales, downloads, and player count charts usually arrive after the first week of the month, covering the previous month. PlayStation typically shares their download figures first, followed by UK sales data. The European chart usually comes shortly after. USA purchase data typically arrives around the third week of the month. Player count charts might appear a bit earlier in some cases.
Max Payne Remake Updates
Unlike Rockstar, Remedy is very transparent about their development cycles and progress. Every quarter, the company provides detailed financial updates and shares information about all of their projects with both investors and the public.
Remedy will share their next financial report on February 2nd, usually in the early morning for Europe. This is when we'll likely hear more about the Max Payne 1&2 Remake. Following that, Remedy plans to release their 2024 Annual Report on March 10th, with the Annual General Meeting scheduled for April 10th. A business review of the first quarter will likely be released on April 30th.
