In the times full of "realistic" football sims releasing, Guts 'N Goals is blowing a fresh wind into the genre with its completely distinctive elements. It's a multiplayer football game that takes a hilarious approach of making it as far as real-life soccer matches as possible.
In order to celebrate this announcement, the developer has released a new trailer for this arcade soccer game. You can see it below:
About Guts 'N Goals
Two biggest names when it comes to soccer games - PES 2020 and FIFA 20 has come out this month. Usually, developers will try to avoid this time and wait for those games to cool down a little bit before releasing their title. However, it's not the choice for CodeManu, as they immediately announced their self-published game Guts 'N Goals.
There's a clear reason for that. abandoning the realistic gameplay and life-like graphics, Guts 'N Goals is a hilarious game with arcade visuals. It has added the chaos to football matches, letting players smash their cricket bats to the balls or the opponents' faces in the fast-paced battles.
To be more specific, Guts 'N Goals is a multiplayer football game which you can enjoy playing online. Instead of kicking the ball with your legs, you will wield a cricket bat and hit it like you haven't done it before. There are absolutely no rules and no faults, so you can freely smack everything you want: the balls, your opponents or even your teammates.
Of course, the scoring mechanics still stay the same, as you'll have to bring the ball to the other team's net to score a goal. Hence, one opponent gets beaten down means more advantages for your team, and you can do this all days without getting penalties.
Furthermore, Guts 'N Goals has more than 20 characters from you to choose from, each has a different superpower. At this point, this game is very similar to the classic arcade game Kunio-Kun no Nekketsu Soccer League, which we used to spend hundreds of hours playing with our friends.
Release date
The final version of Guts 'N Goals doesn't have a specific release date yet. However, CodeManu planned to release the game at some point in 2019.
Adding cherries on top, the developer also revealed that the Early Access version of the game is very close to us. You can wishlist the game on Steam now to receive notifications when it comes out.
