The next-gen version of GTA Online (for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S) has finally been made available worldwide. Aside from graphical improvements like resolution and higher FPS, it also has a new feature called Hao's Special Works (HSW).
HSW upgrades add a second bar to the acceleration performance graph, effectively offering up to twice the acceleration performance over the previous top-of-the-line upgrades. In this article, Gurugamer is going to showcase the best Hao's Special Works vehicles in GTA Online, ranking based on speed.
Table of Contents
1. Shitzu Hakuchou Drag
The Shitzu Hakuchou Drag is the only motorbike on this list and also the fastest vehicle. It can hit a top speed of 157.7 mph, faster than any car on the list.
However, as it is a motorcycle, the Shitzu Hakuchou Drag is also much harder to control. It suffers from understeer at high speeds and its suspension is relatively susceptible to bumps in the roads.
2. Karin S95
Based on the Toyota GŔ̉ 86, the Karin S95 is one of the most wanted vehicles in GTA Online. Hao's Special Works can upgrade its performance even further, increasing its top speed from 115.5 mph to 155.5 mph.
This car is an exclusive vehicle of the Expanded & Enhanced version. This is probably the reason why its speed is so over the top.
3. Bravado Banshee
The Banshee is a recurring mid-sized sports car appearing in every GTA game since Grand Theft Auto III and shares its reputation with the Infernus for being one of the two longest running sports cars in the GTA series.
After customization in HSW, it can hit a top speed of 153 mph.
4. Grotti Turismo Classic
The Turismo Classic is a retro design based on popular 1980s Ferrari models and is the only Classic Sport Car to get the HSW upgrade. It has a perfect mix between sleek, aerodynamic design and lightweight bodywork, allowing for good acceleration and a high top speed. In the game, players can do an exhibition lap with this car to get a free HSW upgrade.
After HSW, players can reach 150.5 mph on the Grotti Turismo Classic.
5. Pegassi Weaponized Ignus
Currently, the Pegassi Weaponized Ignus is the only weaponized car that can be HSW customed. It is mostly identical to the normal version, except for a large roof-mounted machine gun that replaces the rear engine window.
After the HSW upgrade, the Weaponized Ignus can reach 146.3 mph.
6. Imponte Arbiter
The Imponte Arbiter GT is a two-door hardtop muscle car featured in GTA Online, based on the legendary Pontiac Judge GTO.
Fans of classic vehicles would definitely want to check out the special HSW version, with a top speed of 141.3 mph.
7. Coil Cyclone 2
The Cyclone II is a perfect combination of price, customization, speed, and control feels. Coming in at $2,250,000, the car will leave you plenty of budget for any customization you want. However, when upgraded with the PS5/XSX exclusive HSW improvements, the Cyclone II can reach the crazy top speed of 141.00 mph (226.92 km/h).
There’s nothing over the top with the Cyclone. Its design is realistic and makes the players feel grounded. Plus, it runs on electricity, so one more point for saving the environment. The car works smoothly at turns, corners, and excels in short races.
8. Ubermacht Sentinel XS
The Sentinel XS is one of the classic GTA cars that have appeared in many previous GTA games. The car is related to the Mafia/Leone Sentinel, gang car of the Leone Family in Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories. With the HSW transformation, players can reach 137.8 mph.
9. Pfister Astron Custom
The Pfister Astron Custom is one of the new exclusive vehicles added to the game as part of the Expanded and Enhanced version. This is a version of the Astron with extra-wide wheel arches and minor changes to the side panels, which appear to be modernized and partially painted.
After HSW, it can easily reach a top speed of 137 mph. In stock condition, the Astron Custom performs largely similar to the regular Astron, but with reduced braking and handbrake force.
10. Principe Deveste Eight
The Principe Deveste Eight is an ultra hypercar featured in GTA Online as part of the continuation of the Arena War update in 2019, during the Deveste Eight and Doomsday Week event. It is clearly based on the real-life Devel Sixteen, a Dubai based concept hypercar.
The Deveste Eight has overall moderate acceleration but an excellent top speed. Its straight-line speed is excellent, topping out as the 2nd fastest in the Supers class, just behind the 811. The Deveste Eight's average traction is its biggest weakness - a lot of cars can win against it in races with a lot of corners.
