Minecraft is a huge expansive game, with a lot of unique items scattered all over its many biomes. Flowers are probably the ones with the most variants, and players often want to gather them all for decoration and making potions/dyes.
In this article, Gurugamer is going to showcase a complete guide on how to find all flowers in Minecraft 1.19 update.
Dandelion
Dandelions are among the most common flowers in the game, as you can find them in most grassy biomes (plains, forests, meadows). To get them, players can just use bone meal on grass blocks. They also spawn in flowerpots in Woodland mansions.
They can be crafted into Yellow Dyes and Suspicious Stew (Saturation). The latter is highly valuable, making the stew a very useful food item.
Poppy
Another popular flower - poppies spawn and grow mostly in forest biomes and around villages, so look around there if you want to find one. They can also be spawned with bone meal similar to Dandelions.
Iron golems also drop poppies - players can get a lot of it from an Iron Golem Farm.
They can be crafted into Red Dyes and Suspicious Stew (Night Vision), which is very useful for exploring the Deep Dark.
Blue Orchid
Blue Orchid is one of the more uncommon flowers in the game - players can only find it in swamp biomes. Thankfully, it can still be spawned by using bone meal on grass blocks.
They can be crafted into Light Blue Dye and Saturation Stew.
Allium
Another fairly uncommon flower - allium only spawn within flower forests and meadows. To get them, players need to use bone meal in these biomes.
They can be crafted into Magenta dye and Suspicious Stew (fire resistance). Additionally, the flower also spawns in Woodland mansions.
Azure Bluet
One of the more common flowers. Azure Bluets are naturally generated within plains and meadow biomes. Players can spawn them with bone meal.
They can be crafted into Light Grey Dye and crafted into Suspicious Stew (blindness).
Tulip
Unlike other flowers in Minecraft, Tulip has four different colors. It is tricky to find them all, however, as they only spawn in a few biomes variant: plains, sunflower plains, and flower forests.
Use bone meal in those biomes for a chance to spawn them. They can be crafted into Red Dye, Orange Dye, Light Gray Dye, Pink Dye and Suspicious Stew (weakness).
Oxeye Daisy
To find an oxeye daisy, you will need to search the plains, meadows and forest biomes. They can be spawned by using bone meal on grass blocks.
Oxeye Daisy can be used to craft Light Grey Dye, Suspicious Stew (Regeneration) and Flower Charge banners. The Regeneration effect makes this flower a popular ingredient to farm.
Cornflower
Yet another common flower that generates in plains, meadows and forests. They can be spawned using bone meal in those biomes.
Cornflowers can be crafted into Blue Dye and Suspicious Stew (jump boost).
Lily of the Valley
Lilies of the Valley is a rare flower. It can be found naturally generated within the forest biomes. Spawning it is even harder, as bone meal only works if used in the flower forest biome.
It can be crafted into white dyes and suspicious stew (poison).
Wither Rose
Wither Rose is the most special flower in the game, as it doesn't naturally generate anywhere. Players need to summon the most dangerous mob in the game, the Wither, and let it attack other mobs. Each killed mob will spawn a Wither rose on the block under it.
The wither rose applies the Wither effect to all entities standing on top of it, dealing damage over time. They are useful on farms and can slowly drain the health of all mobs.
They can be crafted into black dye and Suspicious Stew (Wither)
Sunflower
One of the rarest flower - the sunflowers are only found naturally generated within a single biome in the game, the sunflower plains.
Players need to find these biomes to generate duplicate sunflowers. They can be used to create yellow dye.
Lilac
If you want to find lilacs in Minecraft, you can do so by searching most grassy biomes like flower forests and plains. They are two-block tall flowers that can be duplicated using bone meal.
When you find a lilac, you can then use it to make magenta dye.
Rose Bush
To find a rose bush, you will need to search both birch forests and flower forest biomes. They are two-bock tall flowers that can be duplicated using bone meal.
Rose bushes can be crafted into red dye.
Peony
To find a peony flower in Minecraft, you will need to search several forest biomes like flower forests and birch forests; After you get a peony, you can then use it to make pink dye.
Similar to the other two-block tall flowers, they can be duplicated using bone meal.
