Rockstar just gave everyone a huge shortcut to get rich quick in GTA Online, right before the Mansions update lands. These new properties are expected to cost an absolute fortune, so the studio is basically throwing money at players to make sure they can afford them.
40% Extra GTA$ on Shark Cards (Limited Window)
From now until January 7, 2026, Rockstar is giving 40% bonus GTA dollars on certain Shark Cards bought through their official website — completely free extra cash.
Examples with the bonus:
- Great White Shark Card: normally $1.5 million → $2.1 million
- Whale Shark Card: normally $4.25 million → almost $6 million
- Megalodon Shark Card: normally $10 million → $14 million
How to lock it in:
- Go to the official GTA Online page on the Rockstar website before December 7, 2025, 11 PM ET.
- Find the 40% bonus promo section and hit the big claim button.
- Log in, confirm your platform is linked, and you’re done.
After claiming, you have until January 7, 2026, to buy your first Shark Card and the bonus will automatically apply. Only the first card after claiming gets the extra 40%.

Rockstar is running a bunch of other giveaways at the same time:
