1. How to locate the Deep Dark Biome

If players want to explore the world of the Minecraft 1.19 snapshot normally, they must go to the depths of the Overworld to locate a Warden. As players probably already know, the Deep Dark biomes and the Warden are deep underground, below Y level 0.

In the snapshot, the biomes are scattered all around the underground area. As soon as you get to Y level 0, just dig straight in the X-axis and you will eventually find the Deep Dark.

The Warden in Minecraft will appear in this Deep Dark biome. Apparently, they are going to be the only mob there and this is the first time in Minecraft that a biome has only a single mob spawn naturally. As the biome does not have any light, it might actually be a good idea that no mobs ever spawn.

2. How to locate the Warden in Minecraft 1.19

In the Deep Dark, there are a lot of sculk blocks scattered around. The most important ones amongst them are Sculk Sensors and Sculk Shriekers.

Whenever the player makes any sort of noise, whether by jumping, running, or even mining, the Sculk Sensors might be able to catch the sound. This in turn triggers a Sculk Shriekers, which is some sort of "alarm bell" that summon the Warden. Nothing happened after the initial Shriek, however, if the player make noise a second time, the Shrieker would summon a Warden.

If the player is in the area when the Sculk Shrieker was triggered, they would be hit with a Darkness effect, which dims their screen. This makes escaping the Warden or fighting it even more challenging.

3. How to spawn a Warden using spawn eggs

Alternatively, if players just want to try fighting a Warden or get used to its tracking mechanic, it is possible to just summon the mob using a Spawn Egg. Just open the inventory tab in creative mode and search for Warden - players should be able to locate its spawn egg.

4. How to fight the Warden

The Warden is blind and can be distracted by vibrations. To shake them off your trails, just throw snowballs or shoot arrows away from the Warden to distract it. Afterward, sneak away. It is unclear if the Warden mob in Minecraft would be able to destroy blocks or not, but based on some of the interviews, the answer is likely to be yes.

As they are highly resistant to weapon damage, the usual method of trapping like TNT and lava would definitely be the safest way. Take advantage of their AI and lure them into a Lava pit or something. It is unlikely that this mob would be immune to fire.
