You can now pet dogs in GTA Online, not just Chop, and it’ll get you an award. Here’s how to pet a dog and snag the “Dog’s Dinner” award. It’s a bronze-tier award that gives you 100 RP, and doing it a few times can level it up to platinum.

The new GTA Online Money Fronts update brings in Mr Faber, who’s got some shady jobs for you. To get started, you’ll need to buy the car wash business.

Selecting The Job

Once you’re in your car wash business, head to the laptop in the office and hit the right d-pad button. This pulls up a menu with different jobs. Pick Mr Faber Work, and it’ll take you to the job selection and customization screen. Choose the “Liquid Market” mission from Raf, confirm it, and jump in.

Finding The First Dog

After starting the mission, grab a vehicle and drive to the spot marked on your map. It’s out in Sandy Shores, so it’s a bit of a trip. When you get there, go to the door and pick the lock.

Inside, you’re looking for a flash drive, but you’ll also see a dog. You can toss it some food to keep it busy while you search—just walk up and press the right d-pad button. Once it’s eating, you’ll get a prompt to pet the dog with the same button. It’s that easy.

Completing The Award

After you grab the flash drive, head to the laptop and hack it by finishing the mini-game. Then, you’ll be sent to the junkyard.

Stay sneaky here—don’t let the NPCs or dogs spot you. Take out the NPCs quietly with a silenced weapon. Near the dogs, you’ll see a bone icon on your mini-map. Head over and press the right d-pad button to put out food for the dog. That’ll unlock the Dog’s Dinner award. You can also pet the dog if you want. After that, just finish up the mission.
