Minecraft's Tiny Takeover event is bringing major cuteness to the game with baby mobs galore. The partnered Twitch campaign lets players snag exclusive cosmetics just by tuning in. These Twitch Drops tie perfectly into the new update's fluffy theme, giving you adorable character creator items to show off while exploring the Overworld with tiny turtles, bunnies, and more.
The campaign runs right now (launched April 6, 2026), so there's still plenty of time to grab everything before it ends on April 15, 2027. Rewards must be redeemed by that deadline.

All Tiny Takeover Twitch Drops
Here are the four rewards available during the event:
- Hatchling Hat: A charming chicken-themed hat that fits the baby-mob vibe.
- Bunny Beanie: A cozy bunny-ear beanie for your character.
- Turtle Tunes: A fun turtle-inspired accessory (perfect for the slow-and-steady baby turtle energy).
- Baby Chick Chat Badge: A special badge that appears in Twitch chat when you interact.
Note: The three in-game cosmetics (Hatchling Hat, Bunny Beanie, and Turtle Tunes) are the main watch-time rewards. Watching just five minutes of Minecraft content earns you these cute items.
How to Earn the Rewards
It's simple and streamer-friendly:
1. For the Hatchling Hat, Bunny Beanie, and Turtle Tunes
Watch at least five minutes of any live Minecraft stream. The channel must be streaming in the official Minecraft category on Twitch (Partner or Affiliate channels qualify). You do not need to watch the same streamer the whole time.
Once the five minutes are up, reward codes will appear in your Twitch inbox.
2. For the Baby Chick Chat Badge
Purchase a subscription or gift a sub to any channel streaming Minecraft. (Prime Subs do not count for this reward.)
Step-by-Step: How to Claim Your Tiny Takeover Drops

- Make sure your Twitch account is linked to your Microsoft/Minecraft account. (This is required for redemption to work.)
- While watching a qualifying live Minecraft stream, stay tuned for at least five minutes. The system tracks your watch time automatically.
- Check your Twitch inbox (click the bell icon in the top right on Twitch). You will receive one or more reward codes.
- Go to the official redemption page: minecraft.net/redeem
- Log in with your Microsoft account if prompted, then enter the code(s).
- Launch Minecraft (Java or Bedrock Edition) and head to the character customization screen. Your new hats and accessories will now appear in the inventory there. Equip them and enjoy the extra cuteness!
Important Tips and Deadlines
- You only need to watch five minutes total. It does not have to be consecutive on the same stream.
- Rewards are delivered automatically. If you do not see them after five minutes, refresh your Twitch page or try another stream.
- All codes expire and must be redeemed by April 15, 2027. Do not wait until the last minute.
- These are cosmetic items only. They do not affect gameplay but look fantastic with the new baby mobs in the Tiny Takeover update.
- The event is open worldwide. Just log into Twitch and start watching.
With only five minutes of watch time required for the main trio of items, there is really no excuse to miss out. Grab your Hatchling Hat, Bunny Beanie, Turtle Tunes, and Baby Chick Chat Badge while the campaign is live, then head into the game to show them off alongside all those adorable baby mobs. Happy watching and happy crafting!
