On the 26th of this month, Foresight Games has released those first screenshots and details together with an announcement trailer for their upcoming title of Project Haven. It is a turn-based tactical dystopian RPG title.

In Project Haven, you will start your game in the near-future urban area - Haven City. You will get to control a mercenaries squad as they fight against the corrupt government,  rivals mercs, and lots of gangsters in the mission to survive in this harsh land.

The title promises to deliver a special free-aiming firing system and a nonrestrictive navigating mechanic. Thus, it will give us a new way to enjoy the gritty story for a more mature audience.

In this title, you will command the infamous Steel Dragons. They are a mercenaries squad which outfit to fight for their lives in the harsh city. You will manage the gear and stats of your crew, with a vast range of personalities. Do your best to conquer the profound tactical elements in this title.

As you progressing with the storyline, you and the squad will figure out the brutal and cold conspiracies in this city.

Project Haven features lots of innovative mechanics

You can manually override the aiming mechanic. The title's special free-aiming mechanic will allow you to control the merc and also manually shoot in a 3rd person perspective.

With the feature of modular damage, you could also wing your opponent to decrease their accuracy rate. You can also shoot them at the legs to slow them down or go for the headshot to deal extra damage.

Project Haven also features a very flexible turn-based tactical combat system. Hide behind cover or hunker down. Heal your crew or throw the grenades. Demolish walls or hack that lock to reach the enemies. Your merc will have the freedom of movement, navigating without those restrictive hexes or square grids.

Project Haven is coming for PC through Steam at an unknown date.
