Yesterday, PUBG Corp. just announced the Season 5 (now available on Test Server) with new features, a new Battle Pass, and a "refreshed" Miramar. Here are the most exciting updates and changes that are coming to PUBG this patch.

Miramar update
- A LA Muerte Vamos Race Track: Miramar will have a new race track with ramps, loops, jumps, and signboards around Miramar.
- Gold Mirado: Hacienda del Patron has always been known as one of the most dangerous loot spots in Miramar. Now, you will always found a Gold Mirado car at the garage in Hacienda del Patron. That will be the only Gold Mirado in the entire match and make your victory in the place more rewarding.
- The weapon drop rates for AR, DMR, SR, Win94, and Scopes are also increased to suit long-range combat.
- Pistol drop rate is decreased by 31%.
- Vending Machine: Miramar will have a new looting experience through vending machines at Arenas, Casino, gas stations, Motels, and commercial buildings.
Gameplay
Melee weapon throwing
All melee weapons now can be thrown to deal damage to enemies.
- Machete, Crowbar, Sickle have the maximum throwing distance of 40m and deal between 25 and 75 damage depending on the distance.
- Pan has the maximum throwing distance of 30m and deals between 40 and 90 damage depending on the distance.
- You must hit your enemies within 15m to deal the most damage.
Items throwing
Now, when your teammates request certain items through radio messages, they have an icon above their head. You can aim toward them can press the "F" button to throw the requested items to them. You can throw items up to 15m away to your teammates and those items will be transferred directly to their inventory.
Survivor Title System Change
Now players will have their rank reduced if they perform poorly in a match. This way, players' ranks will be presented more accurately and matchmaking will be better.
Win94 Buff
Win94 will now have a default 2.7 scope with it and only appear in Miramar.
Battle Pass: Badlands
This new Battle Pass introduces a new Community Mission System for all players to complete together. You can contribute to the mission by looking for special Cardboard Boxes in Miramar. You will find a Disc piece or a Broken disc or an Old DVD which counts as 1, 2, 3 points respectively toward Community Missions Goal. Community missions will give you in-game rewards and reveal the story of Miramar.

Custom map
Zombie mode now has several preset modes for various and exciting Zombie fight experiences.
- Zombie Elimination: One team of humans will fighting against all other zombie players. Any human who is infected turns into a zombie when they die.
- Zombie Survival: Survive the zombie apocalyptic for a limited amount of time to win the game. Any human who is infected turns into a zombie when they die. Zombies can respawn.
- Zombie Royale: Just a classic battle royale mode with a small twist. Any player who dies will have a second chance and become a zombie. The rule stays the same, the last man standing will win the match.
