Shroud is stunned by his own success

This instant success of Apex Legends has attracted a lot of streamers including Shroud, hoping to be part of this newest trend. Ever since the game debuted, his viewership often exceeds 100,000 people, which is a surprise even to him. Shroud jokes that the view might not be real at all.

He expressed his amazement in a streaming session on the 11th of February and said that his channel had never been this popular. His sudden success made him think that viewbots are responsible for this large number of views. Shroud even told some of his supporters to visit other channels as well.

According to him, last week was crazy and this was the first time he saw so many views. There were more than 100,000 people on his channel at 11 PM, 2 AM, and 3 AM. He said he did not believe that the statistic reflects the real situation and there must be someone using bots to boost the number without him knowing about it.

Apex Legends is staying ahead of both PUBG and Fortnite in terms of the number of players. Although the three titles belong to the same genre and they share some similar aspects, players will find features that are unique to Apex, making it more appealing, and sometimes, more challenging.

The current success is impressive but no one knows for sure whether Apex Legends can retain its charm for long. For now, with that kind of viewership, in case all of them are legitimate and what Shroud said is merely a joke, he will remain at the top for a long time to come.
