Previously, Insomniac Games managed to bring to the table one of the best superhero games seen to date: Spider-Man (2018), which allowed PlayStation 4 players to traverse New York with a totally new experience. And now the team has a new expansion focused on Miles Morales for Sony's next-generation console and the Spider Man Miles Morales PS5 reaction has been great.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales has just shown off its first gameplay at the Playstation 5 digital event held on the night of September 16. The sequence was presented by Brian Horton, creative director at Insomniac Games, who also told us the plot of this spin-off.

It will be one of the launch titles for the PS5, to be premiered on November 19 in most of the world, and on the 12th in the United States and the countries where the console comes out that day. In addition, it is confirmed that there will be a PS4 version of the game.

Spider Man Miles Morales PS5 Reaction and Why It Got So Much Praise

Spider-Man: Miles Morales did not take long to be seen during the PlayStation 5 presentation. It was the title shown right after the spectacular trailer for Final Fantasy XVI. Having already known about the new adventure in New York City with a new protagonist, we have been able to see the gameplay of the next Insomniac Games title, whose Spider Man Miles Morales PS5 reaction was quite positive.

It must be said that the Spider Man Miles Morales powers will be quite diverse, which are inherited from his mentor, Peter Parker. They include web-shooters, as well as new abilities specific to the character, including his invisibility and the possibility of causing electric shocks on your enemies.

The Spider Man Miles Morales background story will take place a year after the events of the first Spider-Man on PlayStation 4. This explains why is Miles Morales the ultimate Spider-Man this time.

Miles Morales's home, Harlem, which is shown in the gameplay during a sequence in which the protagonist walks by the neighborhood with his friend Ganke Lee, is in danger from two gangs operating in the city: Underground (an evil energy corporation) and Roxxon (a criminal organization), who have futuristic technologies and equipment at their service.

The former attack a rally by Rio Morales, the protagonist's mother. At the same time, Underground also attacks a Roxxon convoy on the Braithwaite Bridge, leading to Miles having to confront members of both gangs.

In the combat fragment shown, it can be seen that Morales is even more agile than the protagonist from the first game, and his powers are more explosive, with the possibility of making powerful attacks from the air, using various powers and camouflage abilities.

Unlike the PS4 Spider Man Miles Morales suit from previous game, Morales has an entire better-looking suit with him this time. That battle ends with a half-collapsed bridge that the superhero saves, with the help of Quick Time Events, by putting it back with his spider web.

If you are interested in the character, you can read more about him starting from Spider Man Miles Morales Issue 1 from Marvel Comics

"When we started crafting it we realized that, with a little bit more of a compact storytelling style, we could tell a very emotionally impactful story that would fit really well as an experience that would take Spider-Man 1 and [Miles Morales] and do justice to this character," Brian Horton said.

The game has new animations, movements, mechanics, and powers such as invisibility and electricity. While the story of Peter Parker is born out of tragedy, Miles is more so born out of family. Unlike Peter, Miles "has friends that he could actually let into his world — his human world and his Spider world. He's a little different in the way he approaches it."

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is coming to PS5 and PS4 on November 19, 2020. The PS4 version will offer the same content but will not have the visual advantages of PS5, including 60fps performance, ray-tracing or the benefits of DualSense. There will a lot more detailed Spider Man Miles Morales PS5 reaction when the game finally comes out.

An Ultimate Edition that includes code from Marvel's Spider-Man: Remastered for PS5, a remastered version of the original and its three downloadable content will go on sale. Some modeling, ray-tracing effects, shadows, more draw distance, 60 fps option, 3D sound, and DualSense control have been reworked.

Of course, we won't be seeing any Spider Man Miles Morales review until the game comes out, so stay tuned until we are close to the release date where reviews will start coming.
