Previously in 2018, the Korean developer Devespresso Games has revealed its new horror title: The Coma II. Didn't feel good with its name, the developer has changed it to 'The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters'!
Along with the name changes, the developer also announced that it will come out for multiple platforms with many language options. Here's the trailer of the game, which gives you a glimpse of the eerie school:
Your scary teacher will follow you home!
The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters tells the story of an ordinary Korean student. Mina Park, tired after a long day of studying, has slept in the school. She only wakes up when it's night, and you know, a school at night has never been a good place.
Soon, she realized that there's something not right in her familiar school. The atmosphere here seems twisted by something evil, making the school full of darkness. Things even get creepier, as Mina realized that an eerie creature that looks like her teacher is following her. A normal teacher following is already scary enough for me, not to mention a weird-walking teacher crawling behind!
Hence, in order to survive, Mina must take on the dangerous journey beyond her schoolyard to the surrounding district. However, many other 'unfriendly' things are waiting for Mina, including many strange characters, mysterious strangers and annoying allies.
Eventually. they'll open up the realm's mysteries behind the school for you. But you'll have to live from the hands of the psychic killer first!
The gameplay of The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters
According to the developer, The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters is an "atmospheric, story-driven game". However, with some images from the press kit and the trailer, I think it also contain some survival elements.
The creepy killer following Mina is Dark Song - already appear in the first installment of the series - The Coma: Recut. This time, it's back and even more deadly and terrifying. You'll die immediately if you fall into her reach, so you'd better stay away as far as possible.
While surviving from the hands of Dark Song, you'll throw yourself into the district wrapping Sehwa university to find clues on how to defeat the psycho. However, your path is not always straightforward, as you'll have to solve some puzzles and encountering many characters on the way. Through your journey, you'll gain some clues on the situation, and unravel the myth behind Sehwa university.
All of this vision is possible if you stay alive. Balancing between exploring and surviving is crucial if you want to get out of this chaos!
Last but not least, as you can see from the trailer, Mina has a health bar. In fact, there's another white bar below, and I don't know what it demonstrates yet.
However, the health bar existing means the heroine will have to confront many dangerous scenarios, which might cause her some blood during the process. Furthermore, the developer said that some injuries might be permanent, and you'll have to craft some items for those situations.
Release date and supported platforms
The publisher Digerati announced that The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters will release for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Mac and Windows. This version will contain multiple language options, including English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Spanish, French, etc.
It seems that the developer has included many languages to help worldwide players enjoying the atmosphere of the game. However, an exact release date is not included, so we might have to wait a little longer to receive more information.
