While the Battle Royale genre is currently famous, many games in this genre have pretty much no story, no lore, or only the bare-bones. Most game has the simple premise: Kill others and become the final survivor.
However, it seems that PUBG Corp does not agree with this idea, and they goes on to showed that PUBG have a deeper story than that. With the recent release of PUBG's Season 4, a new cinematic backstory trailer was also revealed to fans. And according to the trailer, the battle royale in PUBG comes from a young boy, who was the only survivor after a war on Erangel. And as a mean of revenge, he now makes people fight to the death in the island, and stay far away to watch them fight.
That boy is the true puppet master of this game, who flying the contestants onto Erangel 100 at a time, and watch they killed each other for amusement. Next time, when playing PUBG, maybe the thought of being watched from far away will sends shivers into your mind.
Meanwhile, just recently, the official Facebook fan page of PUBG LITE has announced of the PUBG LITE version for India. It's still the same game as PUBG, but with lower quality 3D models, designed to run on the lower spec PCs. The recommends spec for the game is i5 2.8 GHz CPU, 8GB RAM and VGA GTX 660. Sound pretty normal, right? But the minimum spec to run the game is even crazier: Core i3 2.4 GHz CPU, 4GB RAM, and Intel HD 4000 graphic. That mean almost any cheap PC in 2018 can handle the game just fine.
Of course, players of this version is still able to play against people all over the world, because it technically is the same game, same server and all. And unlike the original PUBG on PC, which requires good hardware in order to play, the Lite version is not even need a graphic card to play at lowest setting.
