The award-winning indie game 'This War of Mine" is celebrating its 5th birthday this month, and as a way to celebrate this huge milestone for the game, the developers at 11 Bit Studios has released the Final Cut update of the game on PC for free. According to the developers, this update brings forth the "definite experience" for all the fans who have loved the game for the past few years.
Along with a brand-new character and a new scenario for the game, the "Final Cut" version of This War of Mine also features all the new locations that got introduced in the "Stories" DLC, with new quests and events that increased the replayability of the game.
About the graphics, this update brings to the game 4K UI texture, as well as support for the 21:9 aspect ratio. All the classic levels that were released in the original game also got a whole overhaul in graphics, too. However, if you'd like a more 'classic' looks and feels for the game, you can also select it within the game's option.
You can take a look at the Final Cut trailer of the game:
For those who are unfamiliar with this brilliant game - "This War of Mine" is a sobering stealth-survival game, which shows the players the sadness and cruelty of war - by putting you in charge of keeping a small band of human survive for as long as possible during the middle of a war. To survive, you will have to go and scavage the resources from the city at night, while keeping your presence a secret. And of course, there are a lot of hard, harsh decisions for you to make, too.
This War of Mine: Final Cut Update is now available for free via Steam, and the base game is currently getting a 75% discount if you want to buy it.
