While GTA San Andreas is definitely amongst the best open-world RPG ever made, it is not perfect. Out of the 100 missions included in the game, there are quite a few annoying and even outright terrible ones. In this article, Gurugamer is going to list out the 5 worst missions in GTA San Andreas.
Table of Contents
1 - Supply Lines...
This is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, given to Carl Johnson by Zero at his RC shop in San Fierro. In this mission, CJ's task is to use a remote-controlled drone to attack and destroy all of Berkley's couriers all over the city.
The hardest part of this mission is that you have to destroy the courier before they complete the deliveries... while watching out for fuel consumption. The Toy Plane you have to use is notoriously annoying to control as well. It usually takes quite a few tries for the player to be able to complete this mission.
2 - Farewell, My Love...
This is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas given to protagonist Carl Johnson by Cesar Vialpando. This is the final physical appearance of Catalina, CJ's old flame. GTA III's protagonist Claude also appears in this mission as well - Catalina left CJ for Claude.
Carl challenges Catalina for a race... in one of the worst areas possible. You need to traverse to various locations in Red County in a ZR-350 until reaching the town of Montgomery. The road is filled with deadly obstacles that might cause your car to flip and fail the mission... if you are not careful.

3 - Robbing Uncle Sam
This is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas given to protagonist Carl Johnson by fellow Grove Street Families member Ryder. In this mission, CJ and Ryder suddenly get a bright idea of attacking an army supply depot and rob some guns.
The hardest part of this mission is the fact that you have to multitask three things at the same time. While picking up the weapon crates, you have to fend off waves of mooks and protect Ryder. The guy is absolutely useless as an NPC - as soon as you look away, he would be killed.
4 - Learning to Fly
Learning to Fly is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas given to protagonist Carl Johnson by Mike Toreno. This is a series of ten missions that introduces the player to the flying mechanic... and in 2004, flying is super clunky. You also can't delay this mission until later, as a lot of features are locked behind it.
Expect to spend quite a while working on the missions, especially if you are trying to get the Gold medal. You would get a free Hunter if that was achieved. You can also get this plane through GTA San Andreas vehicle cheats.
5 - Freefall
This is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas given to protagonist Carl Johnson by Don Salvatore Leone. This is a fly mission... and you are going to finally realize how terrible flying in SA was if Learning to Fly is not enough to do that.
In this quest, the protag has to use the slowest plane in the game, the Dodo, to chase one of the fastest planes in the game. A single mistake could force you to restart the mission.
