Valorant has stayed successful over the years thanks to its regular updates, which keep bringing new content and gameplay changes. The game is divided into Episodes and Acts. Each Episode introduces major updates like new agents, maps, and features, keeping the game fresh and exciting for players.

Besides major updates, Valorant also gets smaller patches that improve quality of life, balance, and fix bugs. The latest patch, 9.03, includes several tweaks. It fixes issues with interacting with overlapping objects, so actions like using ropes are more reliable even if blocked by things like Cypher’s Spycam darts. The patch also adjusts how some agents' ground-spreading abilities work, such as Brimstone’s Incendiary and Viper's Snakebite, so their effects match their visual indicators better. Additionally, map-targeted abilities now have extra icons on the minimap to help players aim better with abilities like Brimstone’s Sky Smoke and Omen’s From The Shadows.

Valorant 9.03 Patch Notes Bring Fixes for PC & Console

The patch also includes specific fixes for both PC and console players. On PC, a bug where players had to hold [Tab] to enable the cursor during the pre-round has been fixed. For console players, the map Pearl is now available in Unrated and Swift Play queues, giving them more gameplay options. The update also fixes several bugs, including one where pressing an Ability button while defusing the Spike would switch to a weapon and another where opening the Ability map and Shop/Scoreboard at the same time could cause input issues.

The patch also contains various bug fixes for all platforms to improve stability and enhance the gameplay experience. As the hero shooter genre becomes more competitive this year, these updates are essential for keeping Valorant strong and providing a high-quality experience for players.
