Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-loadingGta 6 Ps5 opens on November 12, and physical copies available from major retailers contain a digital download code rather than a disc. A recent Walmart listing has drawn attention because it mentions an extra item for certain buyers.

Details of the Walmart Offer

Reports indicate that GTA 6 pre-orders at Walmart for the physical PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions include a mystery gift for PS5 and Xbox buyers. The promotion is described as a “surprise and delight” bag or GMD (General Merchandise Delivery) bag packed with goodies. It is available while supplies last and is expected to ship starting November 12, 2026, the same day pre-loading begins.

The information first appeared in screenshots shared on social media by deal-tracking accounts around November 1 and 2, 2026. The listing pairs the bag with the standard digital download code and the official Vintage Vice City Pack that comes with most pre-orders. Neither Walmart nor Rockstar Games has officially confirmed the exact contents.

What Buyers Should Know

Physical editions at Walmart and other stores are code-in-box products. Players still need to download the game, which is estimated at around 210 GB. The mystery bag is a retailer-specific extra and is not the same as the Vintage Vice City Pack (which includes a retro vehicle, garage, outfits, and related items). Speculative ideas for the bag include snacks similar to past Walmart promotions or small Vice City-themed items, but nothing has been verified.

Standard Edition pricing is listed around $79.99 to $80. Digital pre-orders from the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store also include the Vintage Vice City Pack and, in some cases, a free month of GTA+. Those routes do not include the Walmart bag.

  • The mystery bag is reported only for Walmart physical pre-orders on PS5 and Xbox.
  • It ships with the code-in-box copy starting November 12 while supplies last.
  • Contents remain unconfirmed by Walmart or Rockstar.
  • Official pre-order bonus remains the Vintage Vice City Pack for purchases before November 20.

Players interested in the reported GTA 6 physical pre-order bonus can check current Walmart listings, but should treat the bag as an unconfirmed extra until official details appear. Digital pre-orders remain the most straightforward way to secure the game and the standard Vintage Vice City Pack ahead of the November 19 release.
