CD Projekt Red has announced the first expansion of card game Gwent and it will hit all platforms at the end of March. The story in the Crimson Curse is focused on Dettlaff van der Eretein aka The Beast of Beauclair. Dettlaff is a mighty higher vampire who was introduced in the Blood and Wine expansion of The Witcher 3. Betrayed by his lover and friends, he returns with rage and does a dark ritual, turns the moon to blood that can destroy land and its inhabitants. Crimson Curse will bring you 100 additional cards, including 31 neutral cards and 14 faction cards. Choose your side and start fighting. Whichever sides you are in, you have many options of cards from the original version and an expansion. You can make damages to your opponent by poisoning or bleeding them or defend by deploying Shield and Vitality.

Five new cards will join the game

Gwent is a turn-based card game for two players that was first released in late October 2018. Gwent is created based on the card game on Andrzej Sapkowski's The Witcher novels. Moreover, this novel also is an inspiration for the game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The game has 3 rounds. Therefore, players have to defeat their opponent in 2 or 3 round to be the winner in total. Gwent is a very recommended game to play with your friends.
