Wuthering Waves 3.5: Yangyang Xuanling Full Kit And Weapon

Yangyang: Xuanling (commonly called Yangyang SP or Yangyang Alter) arrives in Wuthering Waves version 3.5 as a brand-new 5-star Havoc Sword Resonator. This alternate form of the original gentle Aero support character transforms into an aggressive Main DPS with a high-skill-ceiling playstyle built around stance switching, resource management, Heavy Attack damage, and the Havoc Bane debuff.

Her design leans into a dramatic, mature aesthetic with flowing black-and-blue hair, traditional Chinese-inspired attire, and powerful martial-arts-inspired swordplay. Leaks suggest a major story turning point for Yangyang after her disappearance in earlier versions.

Basic Attack: Succor and Smite

Yangyang Xuanling fights in two interchangeable stances: Azure Sword Stance and Feather Sword Stance.

Perform up to 4 consecutive attacks dealing Havoc DMG while consuming Melody (her primary resource).
If Melody is not depleted, Basic Attacks gain 20% increased Energy Regen.
Stage 4 of the combo applies 1 stack of Havoc Bane to the target.
Mid-air plunging attacks and Dodge Counters follow similar patterns, stance-specific, and also consume Melody.

When Azure Plume reaches maximum, holding Basic Attack unleashes powerful Heavy Attack variants that apply 2 stacks of Havoc Bane.

Resonance Skill: Sword Stance Switch

This is the core of her fluid playstyle.

Press to instantly switch between Azure Sword Stance and Feather Sword Stance while performing a Basic Attack Stage 1 (counts as Heavy Attack DMG in follow-ups).
Provides a brief window for automatic dodging (each successful dodge consumes 50 Melody).

Resonance Liberation: Hush of a Thousand Voices

Consume all remaining Melody to deal Havoc DMG (considered Heavy Attack DMG) and restore 1 Azure Plume.
Gain the Voice upon Voice state.
While Voice upon Voice is active, using Resonance Skill summons a Shadow of Xuanling that deals additional Havoc DMG (Heavy Attack).
Liberation also applies maximum stacks of Havoc Bane to enemies.

Forte Circuit: The Way of Ten Thousand Voices

Sword Stance Flow - Azure / Feather

When Melody depletes in one stance, Resonance Skill becomes the Flow version of the opposite stance:

Deal Heavy Attack Havoc DMG.
Restore 100 Melody and 1 Azure Plume.
Consume 1 stack of Havoc Bane from the target.
Grant a strong Crit DMG buff for 15 seconds (25-second cooldown).

Heavy Attack (Azure Plume at max)

Azure stance: Massive cyclone strike dealing Heavy Attack Havoc DMG + 2 Havoc Bane stacks.
Feather stance: Attack followed by automatic Mid-air Feather Fall.

Inherent Skills

Unbroken Vow: Damage amplification based on the target's Havoc Bane stacks.
One Life One Blade: Liberation applies maximum Havoc Bane. Teammates applying Havoc Bane grant Windbound stacks.

Signature Weapon: Azure of Heaven (5-Star Sword)

Stats at Level 90 (R1):

Base ATK: 588
Substat: 24.3% Crit Rate

Passive: Grants 12% All-Attribute DMG Bonus. When Havoc Bane is applied, Heavy Attack DMG is amplified by 36% and Heavy Attack DMG ignores 12% of the target's DEF for 8 seconds.
