Xiaomi has launched the Redmi K100 in China, completing the K100 series with a focus on long battery life and gaming. The phone pairs a 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and a separate D2 chip, making it the first standard K-series model with dedicated gaming hardware.

The Redmi K100 battery life stands out as the biggest claim. Xiaomi says the Jinshajiang cell, with 28 percent silicon-carbon content and 957Wh/L energy density, can deliver up to 2.43 days of typical use. It supports 100W wired charging, 27W reverse charging, and bypass charging that routes power directly during games to reduce heat and battery wear. The phone measures about 8.7mm thick and weighs 234.5g.
- Processor: Snapdragon 8 Elite (3nm) plus dedicated D2 AI display chip
- Display: 6.83-inch flat OLED, 165Hz refresh rate, up to 3500 nits peak brightness
- Memory: Up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage
- Cameras: 50MP main with OIS plus 8MP ultrawide, 20MP front
- Other: IP68/IP69K rating, HyperOS 4 based on Android 17, Bose-tuned speakers
Redmi K100 gaming performance relies on the dual-chip setup. The Redmi K100 Snapdragon 8 Elite handles the heavy lifting while the Redmi K100 D2 chip manages super-resolution and frame interpolation. Xiaomi claims native 165fps support in more than 40 titles and frame interpolation across over 100 games. A 3D circulating cold pump cooling system with large graphite area helps sustain performance. The Redmi K100 display refresh rate of 165Hz pairs with high touch sampling rates for responsive controls.
Camera specs stay straightforward with a dual rear setup and no telephoto lens, unlike some previous K models. Pricing for the Redmi K100 price in China starts at CNY 3,499 for the 12GB/256GB version, with higher configs up to 16GB/512GB. Sales began in late October 2026. The device is currently China-only, though similar K-series phones have reached other markets under different branding in the past.
Overall, the Redmi K100 prioritizes endurance and gaming features over the absolute newest silicon. Anyone searching for strong Redmi K100 charging speed and extended sessions will find the combination of the large battery and dedicated chip the main draw.
