Horizon: Forbidden West

The much-awaited sequel is finally here. Horizon: Forbidden West has a high bar to reach to succeed its predecessor, Horizon: Zero Dawn.

In the sequel to the beloved sequel, Aloy has been traveling even further from her home on a map that is so big it is making PS4 consoles sweat. The creatures are out of control and Aloy must use her evolved combat gameplay to control them and explore a massive world to understand what is going on.

Luckily, we don’t have long to wait as we’ll soon see Aloy and the mystical robo-creatures of the future as the release date for the game is set for February 18th, 2022.

With the upgraded combat, some can see it becoming a staple in eSports and therefore by extension a big eSports betting participation of fans of eSports.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

The good guys have had their moment in the sun, with Injustice and Injustice 2, and finally, as the Justice League should do in every format, they are stepping aside to let the villains have their day in the sun. Let’s face it, the likes of the Joker, Harley Quinn, Deadshot, and even B-listers like Captain Boomerang and Killer Frost make for a way more fun game. Who wants to be so good all the time?

Well, good is subjective, since Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League follows a narrative that is part Suicide Squad and part Injustice: Gods Among Us, where all the Justice League members have been bewitched into evil acts and the ragtag team of villains must stop him.

So far, the only release date we have is “sometime in 2022” so we’ll have to wait a little longer for a precise date.

Starfield

The latest release from Bethesda takes us not to a Middle Earth-inspired land, or an apocalyptic wasteland, but now, into space!

The Starfield game has been promised to offer everything that makes Bethesda games great: dialogue with NPCs, branching narratives, and control over your own destination, as well as a beautiful open-world landscape to explore.

There will be interstellar travel, planetary exploration, and warring factions to navigate as you explore this “Han Solo simulator”, as Bethesda studio director Ashley Chang has put it.

Amongst an uneasy peace between the United Colonies and the Freestar Collective, you wander through space pirates and religious zealots while trying to avoid alien threats and survive this new world.

The open-world epic space adventure is set to release on November 11, 2022.
