I. How To Unlock Foggy Forest Path
You need to unlock the new map of Fontaine 4.2 to start the Foggy Forest Path Genshin quest as you do this quest in this new region. Go to Marcotte Station and interact with the stone tablet in front of a fountain to unlock this quest.
When approaching the location of this stone, you can see the world quest mark of this quest on the minimap. After you watch the cutscene, this quest starts!
II. Foggy Forest Path Walkthrough
After completing the cutscene and talking to Paimon, follow the path through the Foggy Forest area in the south of Erinnyes Forest Region. Go deeper into this region until you reach an altar under a big, glowing tree.
Interact with the altar and complete the dialogue with Paimon. Then, you have to solve three Dew Bubble puzzles and activate the Harmonius Reed Pipes in the right order. Upon solving three puzzles, you can reveal the Altar's secret.
Finally, examine the item at the altar. After the secret is revealed, a glowing object will appear on the top of the altar. If you interact with it, the Melusine named Pahsiv will appear, introduce herself, and talk to you about the problem of Erinnyes Forest which can be useful for upcoming quests in this questline. Then, you will receive a Teardrop Key.
III. Foggy Forest Path Rewards
Foggy Forest Path is the first quest of The Wild Fairy of Erinnyes questline. Upon completing this subquest, you will receive the following rewards:
- 40 Primogems;
- 4 Mystic Ores;
- 33,500 Mora;
- 4 Hero Wits.
Moreover, you have to complete this subquest to unlock further quests in this chain, such as Wilting Weeping Willow, Furious Mouth of the Spring, and Within the Depths of Erinnyes. Moreover, complete this quest chain and collect Teardrop Keys to insert them into the statue above the stone plate at the fountain in Marcotte Station.
