Genshin Impact 2.6: Ayato's Weapon Haran Tsukishiro Futsu Revealed

Genshin Impact 2.6 update will go live very soon. It is going to start on March 30, 2022 and last until May 10. The first banner of the patch is going to be the new character Ayato, and similar to all banners before that, he is going to come with his own weapon.

In this article, Gurugamer is going to showcase everything you need to know about Ayato's weapon, Haran Tsukishiro Futsu.

1. About Haran Tsukishiro Futsu

Haran Tsukishiro Futsu is going to be the main prize of the upcoming weapon banner, alongside Venti's bow Elegy for the End. It is a 5-star sword weapon and below are its various stats:

• Attack: 46 - 608
• Secondary stat: CRIT Rate 7.2 - 33.1%
• Passive: Honed Flow

Obtain 12% All Elemental DMG Bonus. When other nearby party members' Normal attacks hit opponents, the character equipping this weapon will gain one stack of “Wavespike”, max 5 stacks. This effect can be triggered once every 0.3s. When the character equipping this weapon uses an Elemental Skill, all stacks of Wavespike will be consumed to gain Ripping Upheaval. Each stack of Wavespike consumed will increase Normal Attack DMG by 20% for 8s.

The elemental bonus increases from 12 to 15/18/21/24% from refinement rank 1 to 5. The Wavespike stacks' normal damage bonus also increases to 40% at rank 5.

2. How good is Ayato's Sword?

How does it synergize with Ayato?

Ayato's kit is designed around normal attacking, as during his Elemental skill, players would not be able to use his Charged or Plunging attack. All of his damage would be dealt through normal attacks.

Because of this, a specialized sword such as Haran Tsukishiro Futsu is probably the best for his kit. With 5 stacks, players can gain up to 100% normal attack damage during Ayato's skill duration. This is one of the biggest ATK boosts in the game.

Furthermore, the requirement for gaining charge is super straightforward. You only need to attack with other characters, which has no cooldown or requirements.

Can other characters use Ayato's sword?

Overall, as Ayato's sword has a +12% elemental damage and crit rate as a secondary stat, it is moderately useful on other sword users who don't rely on normal attacks. However, no other characters in the game can make use of Haran Tsukishiro Futsu as much as Ayato.

Players can definitely build Kaeya around normal attacks, but he is nowhere as effective.

3. Haran Tsukishiro Futsu Upgrade materials

The Haran Tsukishiro Futsu requires a number of drops that can be found across Inazuma. In fact, Travelers will need to farm plenty of Old Handguards and Narukami’s Joy.
