Genshin Impact 2.8 Leak: New Diluc And Fischl Skins Revealed!

Genshin Impact rarely releases skins, and because of that, their debuts are always hyped by fans. A leak has recently revealed the upcoming Diluc and Fischl skins, scheduled for the 2.8 patch. Both these skins will be released alongside the return of the Golden Apple Archipelago, and Fischl's skin is tied heavily to the new event. Both of these skins will remain in the game's shop after the event ends.

Fischl's skin - Ein Sommernachtstraum

Fischl's skin will be free during the Golden Apple Archipelago event. Similar to the previous Barbara skin, players need to complete certain side goals on the archipelago to unlock it. Once the event ends, the skin will cost 1680 Genesis Crystals, which means this is the only chance for players to get it for free.

This Fischl skin will likely be her embracing her title as a Princess, complete with royal attire, a crown, and a castle behind her back. With Fischl also reportedly serving as the free character attainable from 2.8’s event, players should definitely aim to pick up the Prinzessin's fresh new look.

Diluc's skin - Red Dead of Night

Overall, the design screams Fatui. From the mask-like elements on his boots, the ambiguous accessory on his neck that suspiciously resembles a delusion, to the blackened fire... Perhaps this was what he looked like when he used his delusion years ago.

Red Dead of Night does not seem to be part of this event, however, players can still get a big discount for purchasing it. During the event, the skin will cost players only 1980 Genesis Crystals. After the event ends, players will have to spend 2480 Genesis Crystals to acquire it. Overall, if you are a fan of Diluc, it is best to grab the skin immediately after it comes out for a huge discount.

This skin looks pretty amazing - it likely showcases a Diluc who has unleashed the full power of his Pyro abilities. Red Dead of Night put Diluc in an imposing red & black coat while wielding the Wolf's Gravestone claymore. Unlike Diluc's normal attire, his flames now feature black/dark elements. These black and red flames will actually be featured in his battle effects.

As this is the first 5-star skin ever, Red Dead of Night will come with alternate animations and effects for Diluc, allowing fans to have a much different and flashier character. The best part is probably the new Elemental Burst animation, where Diluc releases a huge red & black fire phoenix.

The release of these two skins is during the anniversary when Genshin Impact gets a new Genesis Crystal reset. This allows fans to grab some extra crystals for later skins.
