The recent Genshin Impact 3.3 Special Program revealed that the game would add a new permanent card game mode called Genius Invokation TGC. In this mode, you can build your own deck consisting of Genshin Impact character cards and play against other NPCs and friends. Check out more details about this new mode below.

Genshin Impact 3.3 New Pernament Card Game Mode

The card mode was introduced in the recent live stream of Genshin Impact and it will be available for all players.

The cards in this mode will feature characters from all over Teyvat from the small monster such as Slimes to the mighty gods like the Seven. There will be a total of 4 card types:

  • Character cards: These represent popular characters like Diluc and Yoimiya, and they will be able to Normal Attack, use Elemental Skills, and Elemental Bursts.
  • Equipment cards: These can be used to buff character cards, increasing their damage potential.
  • Support cards: Similar to Equipment cards, these will provide buffs to character cards.
  • Event cards: These are similar to spell cards in other TCGs, where using them will activate a one-time effect.

The objective of the game is to defeat all opponent's cards. There will be a lot of mechanics that resonate with Genshin Impact so players can understand the game easily. For example, you can use the Elemental skills of your characters card to create Elemental Reactions.

Players need to roll Elemental Dices to perform actions in the game. Each Elemental Dice has 7 standard elements, plus an Omni element that can represent any element. The outcome of the roll will decide what actions you can take. For example, you need to roll the Fire element if you want to use Diluc's Elemental Skill.

You will increase your Player Level the more you play and unlock new tougher opponents. You will also earn Lucky coins to buy new cards and skins.
