Genshin Impact Heizou is a new character who will be launched in Update 2.8. Before the official release, his Elemental Burst and C2 are changed. Check out these changes below.

Heizou's Elemental Burst Changed

Genshin Impact Heizou is a new Anemo character who will be launched in Update 2.8. His elemental burst is Windmuster Kick. As the latest leak, his elemental burst and constellation have been updated and buffed.

  • Shikanoin Heizou will perform a Fudou Style Vacuum Slugger kick that looks pretty cool when leaping into the air. His powerful kick will release a gale of wind that will explode when it reaches the opponent. Then, it causes an Arresting Windtunnel following the explosion to pull in enemies around and deal AOE Anemo damage to them.

Heizou's elemental burst has been updated before the official release of Genshin Impact 2.7.
  • In addition, enemies will also get damaged from the Windmuster Iris effect when affected by both an Electro/Pyro/Cryo/Hydro element and Heizou's Elemental Burst. After a few seconds, it causes a delayed AOE explosion and affects up to four opponents at once.

According to leaks, his burst costs 40 Energy and has a 12-second cooldown duration. He can cause tons of damage to clear enemies. His gameplay is totally different from previous Anemo characters when it does not cause a wind storm on the battlefield like Venti, Jean, Sucrose, and Kazuha.

Apart from the changed elemental burst, Heizou's constellation also got changed. His C2 is recently updated. It will boost the pull effect of his elemental burst. In specific, the duration of his pull effect will in extended by one second.

It makes him an effective sub-DPS character with this crowd control ability after you unlock Constellation 2. Shikanoin Heizou is a 4-star character in Genshin Impact 2.8. Just wait until his official release to check out his skills, talents, and his real power.

Though his elemental burst is buffed significantly when the constellation is updated, other talents and attacks are not changed. His elemental skill and passive talents have been leaked, making fans and gamers excited a lot.

  • His elemental skill is called Heartstopper Strike. Heizou launches swift winds to attack enemies and deals great Anemo DMG. It also charges energy for his elemental burst and buff the power of his burst.

The new character Heizou is highly anticipated in Genshin Impact though his full story is still a secret.

Heizou also has three passive talents for exploration and his supporter role.

  • First of all, his Pre-Existing Guilt talent helps Heizou decrease Stamina consumption when sprinting for the whole party. Then, your team can use the sprinting feature for a longer time to traverse the map faster and save time on exploration trips.
  • Next, the Paradoxical Practice passive talent of Heizou can buff the Windmuster Kick elemental burst of this character. It's very useful for his sub-DPS role, especially when his elemental burst is buffed by C2.
  • The last passive talent, Penetrative Reasoning, is only useful for his teammates. In specific, Heizou's teammates on the field get Elemental Mastery buff by 80 for 10s. It makes him an ideal Anemo supporter in an Elemental Mastery team.

How To Use Heizou Effectively?

According to leaked skills, burst, and passive talents, Heizou is an ideal member of Xiao and Kazuha's Anemo teams. He can support his team in the role of a sub-DPS if you have only Xiao or Kazuha for the main DPS role.

Or else, Heizou can be an Anemo charger for these DPS characters when you have both of them on your team. Though the crowd control ability of Heizou is not as good as that of Xiao, Kazuha, and Venti, he can still deal significant damage to mobs.

You should pull both Kadaehara Kazuha and Shinkanoin Heizou in Genshin Impact 2.8 banners. 

So, switch to Genshin Impact Heizou while waiting for the elemental burst of Xiao, Venti, and Kazuha to be fully recharged. It's faster charged when you use characters with the same Elements in your party because they collect more energy particles.
