As an Automaton, it is tough and can absorb a lot of damage before going down. Using burst DPS characters who can deal with high Elemental DMG and trigger reactions is a smart choice to take down the Secret Source Automaton: Configuration Device.

The challenge begins when the boss enters its Acceleration Mechanism state. The Secret Source Automaton: Configuration Device will summon two pillars, each with a destructible object on top. You can’t climb or attack these pillars from a distance, so you’ll need a character who can reach the top to hit them. If you don’t destroy both objects within a short time limit, the boss will unleash a powerful attack that can take out your active character in one hit.
