What date is the Lantern Rite Genshin Impact 2024 happening?
Genshin Impact 4.4 will be up for grabs on 31 January 2024. Players will be able to experience the return of Lantern Rite in Liyue. Also in this region, we may expect the release of a new map called Chenyu Vale.
The time-limited event comprises various mini-events that can reward players with a free 4-Star character, Primogems, Mora, and more. But how long until Lantern Rite is over? Usually the event takes place for over a month.

Which Lantern Rite Genshin 2024 characters will we be able to greet?
Up until now, the official notices confirmed that two new characters will be added to the game's roster. One of them is the human form of Cloud Retainer, called Xianyun. Many players are looking forward to seeing her role in the lore and secrets waiting to be unveiled.
Besides this 5-star Anemo unit, GaMing is also joining the lineup. This Pyro character was once called the "lion dance boy".

A renowned player in the community has recently unveiled Xianyun's highly anticipated 5-star signature weapon. The catalyst is expected to be named Crane's Echoing Call. If rumors are to be true, Crane's Echoing Call may take the form of a fan adorned with feathers and cloud-shaped patterns.

Character skins always attract players' attention as they give them a fresh look than the original design.
With Lantern Rite Genshin 2024, Genshin Impact 4.4 may introduce new costumes for three characters in the game - Shenhe, Ganyu, and Xingqiu. The names of all three skins can be seen as follows:
- Shenhe character skin: Cold Flower, Secret Dew.
- Ganyu character skin: Mysterious Jade Fragrance.
- Xingqiu character skin: Rain Transforms the Bamboo.
Moreover, Ganyu and Shenhe are both disciples of the Cloud Retainer. They may feature as an important part in the major events of version 4.4.
