Developed as the follow-up of the series' long-running protagonist Agent 47, the successful game - Hitman 1, the latest Hitman 2 promises better features and settings than its predecessor.
As can be seen from the trailer of Hitman 2, the setting of each mission is supposed to be the most highlighted feature to appeal players. The locations where Agent 47 carries out his missions are revealed to be completely fictional like Hawke's Bay - New Zealand, Whittleton-Usa, Isle of Sgail-North Atlantic, Himelstein-Austria and inspired by real places, including Miami-Usa, Santa Fortuna-Colombia, Mumbai-Idia.
Among those unveiled places, Mumbai, India is believed to not only play a vital role in Agent 47's storyline but also obtain almost the features promised by its developer IO Interactive.
"Featuring entirely new hyper-detailed sandboxes full of living, breathing environments to explore, Hitman 2 offers players the freedom to plan the ultimate assassination utilizing an assortment of tools, weapons, disguises and a variety of stealth techniques to creatively trigger their own unique chain of events."
In the official description by IO Interactive, Mumbai, India is called "City of Dreams", which is "a treat for any visiting traveler or agent on a mission." The crowd and the layers of the picture provide the players with more life experience in real life of city slums and Bollywood movie locations as well as the place to hide and play cat and mouse games with the enforcers. Particularly, once getting into trouble, the players can dip themselves into the crowd and let the chasers swear for searching.
"Lose yourself in the crowds of the city's famous slums or admire Bollywood movie locations from afar; Mumbai will not disappoint with its colorful life and countless hidden secrets."
According to press announce, Hitman 2 is going to be published on 13th November heading to Xbox One, PS4, and PC. On this comeback, the publisher is no longer Japanese game maker Square Enix, but Warner Bros.
