To commemorate the recent launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+, renowned mobile developer King has teamed up with Samsung to create an AR mode for its popular match-3 puzzle game Candy Crush Friends Saga. This new mode will be available exclusively to Samsung owners and will see players interacting with the Hungry Yeti, a fiercely strong yet incredibly friendly “lunkhead" - as it's called by the developer

King is teaming up with Samsung for a new Candy Crush Friends Saga game mode to commemorate the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and 10 Plus, which features the Hungry Yeti

Last week, the official YouTube channel of Candy Crush released a video showing Lisa and Jisoo – two members of the massively popular K-pop band BLACKPINK – demonstrating the features of the mode. You can check out that video right below:

From what we can see, things are relatively simple: Your main focus is to feed cookies to the Yeti, and doing so will grant you various rewards. You obtain these cookies by playing through levels (you don’t need to actually win, you just have to play) and will need at least 3 before you can give them to your furry buddy. Once fed, the Yeti will become full and you’ll need to wait an hour before it gets hungry again. If you play on a Note 10 and 10+, you can also shake the S-Pen to have the Yeti perform a dance.

Play through the levels to earn cookies, which can then be fed to your Yeti friend for rewards

Having big names such as Lisa and Jisoo promoting this new AR mode certainly goes a long way in attracting attention to it, so if you fancy checking it out, you can head over to the Google Play Store to download Candy Crush Friends Saga right now.
