The Burning reaction isn’t as popular as other reactions in Genshin Impact. People often prefer other reactions because Burning doesn’t deal much damage and isn’t very useful. Emilie could either improve the Burning reaction or fail to fix its problems if the reaction remains weak.

However, any Cryo DPS capable of dealing significant damage with Melt, like Wriothesley, can also replace Ganyu.

With Emilie now available, she fits perfectly into the Burning/Melt team because her entire kit focuses on Burning and dealing with off-field damage. The team also needs a Pyro unit to handle off-field Pyro damage since Ganyu will be on the field the whole time. Xiangling and Bennett are both excellent choices for this team due to their synergy and the Pyro Resonance, which boosts the team’s ATK by 25%. Since Emilie, Ganyu, and Xiangling’s attacks scale with ATK, the Pyro Resonance, and Bennett are crucial for maximizing their damage.

2. Emilie + Arlecchino + Yelan + Bennett

This team relies mainly on Arlecchino as the main DPS, with Emilie, Yelan, and Bennett supporting her to boost her damage and continuously trigger Burgeon/Vaporize. Emilie and Yelan apply their Elements constantly, creating a synergy between Dendro and Hydro that generates Blooms for Arlecchino to trigger Burgeon. Additionally, Emilie and Arlecchino can trigger Burning, which Yelan can then Vaporize.

Yelan and Bennett are ideal for working with Arlecchino because they enhance her damage and help her trigger Vaporize on nearly every hit. If you want to switch Arlecchino for Hu Tao, you can bring in Xianyun instead of Bennett, as she can boost Hu Tao’s Plunge attacks. Additionally, Xingqiu can replace Yelan since they have similar abilities.

3. Emilie + Baizhu + Kazuha + Dehya

The Burning reaction causes nearby enemies to also take damage from the Burning effect. This makes characters who can gather enemies into one area crucial for teams that depend on Burning DPS. In this best Emilie team composition in Genshin Impact, Dehya applies Pyro, while Emilie and Baizhu spread Dendro to boost the Burning reaction. Kazuha is also important as he can group enemies together and assist with the Pyro application, given that there are no other Elements he needs to interact with in this setup.
