In Wuthering Waves 2.3 Phase 2 (May 22–June 11, 2025), the Anniversary Resonator Convene Phase II rerun banner features five 5-star characters: Jinhsi, Changli, Carlotta, Roccia, and Brant, while Ciaccona debuts on her own banner. Choosing who to pull depends on your team, playstyle, and resources.

Here’s a quick guide to each character, their roles, and weapon banners to help you decide.

Jinhsi (Spectro, Broadblade, Main DPS)

Hard-hitting main DPS with big burst damage and simple rotations, great for new players.

Reason to Pull

  • Deals massive Spectro damage, especially against single targets or multi-wave fights.
  • Easy to gear up and pairs well with supports like Zhezhi or Verina.
  • Her signature weapon, Ages of Harvest, boosts her damage significantly.

Reason to Skip

  • Can overkill in multi-wave fights, wasting damage.
  • If you have Zani (Spectro DPS from Phase 1), resource overlap makes her less necessary.

Changli (Fusion, Sword, Main DPS/Sub-DPS)

Flexible DPS who can carry or deal off-field damage with quick sword attacks.

Reason to Pull

  • Delivers big Fusion damage and synergizes with Fusion teams.
  • Fun, fast playstyle that excels in tough endgame content.
  • Great chance to grab her if you missed her in Version 2.1.

Reason to Skip

  • Need players to learn quick swap to maximize her potential.
  • Her rotations are trickier than Jinhsi’s, less ideal for beginners.

Carlotta (Glacio, Pistols, Main DPS)

Steady Glacio DPS with a pistol-based kit, added in Version 2.0.

Reason to Pull

  • Reliable for single-target and AoE damage, fitting most content. Innate stun on skill make her ideal for tackling hologram bosses.
  • Works well with Zhezhi or Verina for support.
  • Effective against nimble enemies that like zipping around.

Reason to Skip

  • Needs her signature weapon, The Last Dance, to perform at her best.

Roccia (Havoc, Gauntlets, Main DPS)

Close-range Sub DPS with Havoc damage, added in Version 2.1.

Reason to Pull

  • Good Havoc support for Camellya or Cantarella.
  • AoE grouping makes her perfect for WhiWa

Reason to Skip

  • Gauntlets can feel clunky due to short range.
  • Less versatile than Jinhsi or Changli for varied team setups.

Brant (Fusion, Sword, Main DPS)

Melee DPS with Fusion damage, added in Version 2.1.

Reason to Pull

  • Cool, fast sword attacks with unique aerial combat focus. Has both shield and heal, providing players with an additional layer of sustain.
  • Synergizes with Fusion supports like Changli or Mortefi.

Reason to Skip

  • Needs very good rolls on gear and supports to shine.

Ciaccona (Aero, Pistols, Sub-DPS/Support)

Off-field damage and support, focusing on Aero Erosion and boosting Aero damage.

Reason to Pull

  • Applies Aero Erosion with Basic Attacks, Resonance Skill, and Resonance Liberation, enhancing Aero team damage.
  • Increases enemies’ Aero damage taken, great for Aero teams with Jiyan or the upcoming Cartethyia in Version 2.4.
  • Her signature weapon, Woodland Aria (5-star Pistol), improves her support and damage.
  • Fits both free-to-play and high-spending teams with her hybrid role.

Reason to Skip

  • Less useful without other Aero characters.
  • As a Sub-DPS/Support, she’s not ideal if you need a main DPS.

Should You Pull?

  • Go for it if you’re building an Aero team or planning for Cartethyia in Version 2.4. She’s a smart pick for long-term team building.
  • Skip if you lack Aero DPS units or need a main DPS like Jinhsi.

Verdict

Overall, you should focus on main DPS such as Jinhsi, Carlotta, and Changli first, if you haven't gotten them or need DPS characters. Support/Sub DPS characters like Roccia, Brant and Ciaccona have lower priority.

The weapon banner is pretty much the same - it is better to focus on weapons of the main DPS (Jinhsi, Carlotta, and Changli) first.
