Yoimiya is a 5-star Pyro Bow character in Genshin Impact. She is actually one of the least popular characters in Genshin due to her Burst not buffing her own damage. However, being Pyro, Yoimiya is automatically useful and can deal some serious damage with Vaporize and Melt. In this article, we are going to showcase the best Genshin Impact Yoimiya team comp for high DPS.

Yoimiya team comps use the usual Pyro playstyle.

1. Best Yoimiya Team Comp (Melt)

A good team comp for Yoimiya needs to compensate for her lack of crowd controlling skills, enhance her damage output, and have enough survivability.

Character Role Artifact Set Constellation Level
Yoimiya Main DPS 4-piece Shimenawa's Reminiscence Any
Ganyu Burst DPS
Enabler
4-piece Blizzard Strayer Any
Venti Burst DPS
Crowd Control
4-piece Viridescent Venerer Any
Bennett Heal Support
Buff Support
4-piece Noblesse Oblige C5

This team comp utilizes Melt reaction for the best damage possible for Pyro. Due to Yoimiya's high attack speed, only a fast Cryo attacker like Ganyu could keep up with her. She will serve as a sub DPS and Enabler of the team, as her elemental burst can apply constant Cryo at almost the same rate as Yoimiya’s attack speed.

Ganyu Ulti
Ganyu is the best Cryo applier to go with Yoimiya

Venti will provide crowd control and reduce enemies' resistance with the Venerer set. Bennett is the last piece of the puzzle, serving as the attack booster and healer of the team. His presence also gives Yoimiya Elemental Resonance for extra damage.

2. High-End Yoimiya Team Comp (Vaporize)

Character Role Artifact Set Constellation Level
Yoimiya Main DPS 4-piece Shimenawa's Reminiscence Any
Kazuha Burst DPS
Crowd Control
4-piece Viridescent Venerer Any
Mona Burst DPS
Enabler
4-piece Emblem of Severed Fate Any
Bennett Heal Support
Buff Support
4-piece Noblesse Oblige C5

This lineup works pretty similarly to the previous one, with Mona replacing Ganyu as the Enabler of the team. It utilizes the Vaporize and Reverse-Vaporize reactions, with Yoimiya being the main DPS.

You can replace Mona with Xingqiu if you want to trigger Vaporize more consistently, but Mona is still the best choice as her Burst contributes a lot more. Try to apply Pyro first before releasing Mona's burst to maximize its uptime.

Mona Genshin Impact
Mona can apply Hydro to opponents and burst for additional DMG

While Kazuha's crowd control is not nearly as good as Venti's, he gives a much better elemental boost that allows Yoimiya to wreak havoc. Bennett is still the best support for Pyro with heal and damage boost.

3. High Tier Baal Yoimiya Team Comp (Overload)

Character Role Artifact Set Constellation Level
Yoimiya Main DPS 4-piece Shimenawa's Reminiscence Any
Raiden Shogun Burst DPS
Enabler
4-piece Emblem of Severed Fate Any
Kazuha Burst DPS
Crowd Control
4-piece Viridescent Venerer Any
Bennett Heal Support
Buff Support
4-piece Noblesse Oblige C5

This lineup focuses on Yoimiya triggering Overload from Raiden Shogun's Electro application. This is one of the only teams that overload Raiden works well with, as Yoimiya has enough range to deal damage as you push them away.

Raiden
Raiden is a strong character but hard to build around.

Kazuha serves as the crowd control and damage boost for Raiden. Bennett's role is the usual healing and damage boosting. However, if you need more damage, it is possible to replace Bennett with someone like Xingqiu. Having Hydro application alongside Electro would allow players to trigger both Overload and Vaporize at the same time, resulting in better damage.

4. Mid Tier Yoimiya Team Comp (Vaporize)

This build is geared toward free-to-play and light spender, without any 5 stars in the lineup other than Yoimiya.

Character Role Artifact Set Constellation Level
Yoimiya Main DPS 4-piece Shimenawa's Reminiscence Any
Sucrose Burst DPS
Crowd Control
4-piece Viridescent Venerer Any
Xingqiu Burst DPS
Enabler
4-piece Emblem of Severed Fate Any
Bennett Heal Support
Buff Support
4-piece Noblesse Oblige Any

This team comp is fairly similar to the 2nd one, with Sucrose taking the crowd control spot while Xingqiu becomes the Enabler.

Overall, Xingqiu is actually better than Mona if you want to focus all your resources on building Yoimiya up alone. Without a powerful burst, Yoimiya would do most of the job, triggering Vaporize with her skill set. Try to get Xingqiu to at least 170% energy recharge and give him the sacrificial sword for the highest uptime possible for his burst.

Xingqiu
Xingqiu is one of the best supporters you can get for Pyro characters.

As usual, Bennett is here to do Bennett things such as healing and damage boost. The character is just too valuable in all Pyro comps.

5. Yoimiya F2P Team Comp

This lineup is designed for complete f2p and new players who only have Yoimiya as a sole 5 star. It consists of all characters you can get for free completing the main quests. This is how you can make Yoimiya more effective even with a free squad. If you've been playing for a while, this lineup is not recommended.

Character Role Artifact Set Constellation
Yoimiya Main DPS 4-piece Lavawalker Any
Anemo Traveler Burst DPS 4-piece Viridescent Venerer Any
Xiangling Burst DPS 4-piece Crimson Witch of Flames Any
Barbara Support 4-piece Noblesse Obliged Any

Overall, this team comp does not utilize much elemental reaction at all - it focuses on Enhancing Yoimiya's Pyro damage instead. The Anemo Traveler is the main debuffer, using the Venerer set and Constellation 6.

Xiangling provides Pyro Resonance for Yoimiya while Barbara provides heal. While you can apply Hydro using Barbara, Yoimiya can't take full advantage of her skill, being a ranged character.
