Most of PUBG players know that landing on the right place is very important to win chicken dinner in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Especially, Assault Rifle guns are distributed randomly on the map without any rule. However, the developers have increased the ARs spawn rate by 20% on two PUBG maps: Erangel and Miramar.
ARs Spawn Rate Increases After the Latest Maintenance
Last year PUBG developers launched a Labs for PUBG players to give them feedback. Considering those feedbacks, the PUBG Corp. announced to increase the spawn rate of ARs on Miramar and Erangel maps by 20%.
This improvement is a part of the latest maintenances on January 8th, 2020. In addition, the dev team also fixes some bugs and optimize the capacity of the sub-machine gun Thompson. But the increase of ARs loot rate can blur this enhancement when they can loot better weapons.
It Can Lead To Change In Combat Style
The increased ARs spawn rate means combat will occur earlier in PUBG matches. Players will possibly get in the playing zone and engage in fights soon instead of wandering around for loot. Players tend to find a decent AR gun with a scope before joining combat. But now, they should get used to a speedy match with early combat on Miramar and Erangel.
When the players can get their favorite weapon earlier in the match, the time for each game will be shortened. Miramar and Erangel are the two largest maps in PUBG where each match can last over thirty minutes. The long matches can make gamers get bored with running, seeking supplies, and finding enemies, too.
Besides, the spawn rate of weapons and supplies on Miramar and Erangel is also lower than that on two other maps Sanhok and Vikendi. So, this improvement can attract more players to land on these two maps.
