Twitch and Kick’s Asmongold is now the world’s biggest streamer for Q2 2025, beating out heavy hitters like IShowSpeed, Kai Cenat, and Hasan across Twitch, Kick, and YouTube. A huge reason he’s blown up is his coverage of Donald Trump and his backing of Trump’s straightforward policies, which have clicked with tons of viewers and sent his numbers through the roof.
How did he do it?
Asmongold’s got his share of haters, but you can’t deny the guy’s pulling in massive crowds. Back in March, he was Twitch’s most-watched streamer, and he held that spot in April too. The real game-changer, though, was jumping to Kick alongside Twitch. Per StreamsCharts (via Dexerto), Asmongold led the pack worldwide from April to June 2025. On Twitch, he came in second with 26.41 million hours watched, just behind Caedrel’s 27.87 million. But add in his Kick streams, and he hit 28.58 million hours total, taking the global crown
His Trump-focused streams, where he breaks down policies that make sense to a lot of people, have brought in both his regular fans and a bunch of new faces.
What’s Next for Asmongold?
Streaming’s a wild ride—someone nobody’s heard of can blow up overnight. Asmongold might get knocked off the top spot in Q3, especially if big names like IShowSpeed or Kai Cenat run subathons. Still, he’s in a strong position, especially with his Trump content pulling in viewers who like his no-nonsense take on politics and gaming. He only started on Kick in June, so his Q2 numbers didn’t even get the full boost from that platform. If he keeps streaming on both Twitch and Kick for all of Q3, his stats could be even crazier.
Kick’s not as big as Twitch, but it’s got a sweet deal for streamers, giving them 95% of the cash from streams and keeping just 5%. Twitch, on the other hand, splits subs 50/50 with most streamers. Even though Kick dials back the revenue for folks streaming on multiple platforms, it’s still worth it for a lot of people. Asmongold’s killing it on both, showing others how it’s done. If another big streamer copies his move, he might have a real fight on his hands, but his knack for hot topics like Trump’s policies keeps him ahead of the pack for now.
