The Battlefield 6 Open Beta is back tomorrow for another action-packed weekend, and players are pumped. After a short break since the first beta weekend, Electronic Arts used the time to fine-tune some things. They dropped a blog post spilling the details on what’s new.
The big news is the ‘Custom Search’ feature coming to the Battlefield 6 Open Beta Weekend 2 playlist. It’s not a full-on server browser, but it’s a solid step in that direction.
Will The Battlefield 6 Beta Get a Server Browser?
No server browser for the Battlefield 6 Open Beta, but Custom Search is the next best thing. EA shared in their blog post that this feature lets you pick exactly which maps and modes you want to play, like Conquest on Siege of Ciaro. The matchmaking system will try to hook you up with your chosen match if it’s out there.
You can use Custom Search in Open Weapon mode playlists during the Battlefield 6 Open Beta Week 2, so you’ve got more control to play what you want.
EA knows the community’s been begging for a server browser. DICE even hit up social media to ask fans why it matters so much to them.
