After Infinity Ward released its full-blown Battle Royale title, Call of Duty: Warzone, players have wasted no time digging up all kinds of tactics and gameplay tricks that the developers themselves probably didn't intend to have in their game.

call of duty: warzone tricks
Players have found out all kinds of wacky things you can do in Call of Duty: Warzone

Players have figured out all sorts of things from the best perks to have or what landing spots to go for. But what few expect to find out is the ability to get kills as a spectator in the 1v1 Gulag, as in not just one kill but both gulag fighters using an interesting tactic.

Two birds with one stone in Call of Duty: Warzone

When you wait for your Call of Duty: Warzone 1v1 battle to begin, as a spectator you can throw a few punches and pelt rocks at whatever you are aiming at. They do close to non-existent damage and are a distraction more than anything else. But the rocks you throw actually do one single point of damage, which is what allows you to pull off a spectator kill or two.

Players have found out ways to kill Gulag fighters even as a spectator

So to be able to use these rocks to take out two Gulag fighters battling each other, you and them would need to spawn in with Trip Mines as their lethal equipment. The Trip Mines can be triggered and explode with a precise stone throw when you are a spectator waiting for your turn. See an example of that in action below:

Reddit user 'burek_with_yoghurt' could only respond with "What the fu-haha" after seeing their unlikely double kill. We'd have the same reaction too.

Because Gulag fighters are often equipped with pistols and shotguns, the fights are often a close-range affair. When the fighters are trying to take each other out up close, hitting the Trip Mine with a well-placed rock should take out both Gulag players.

Some players are confused as to what happens after both Gulag fighters get killed. On Reddit, a user explains that "in warzone though, from COD’s website, it says that if both players have the same health and no one grabs the flag, both players die/do not respawn into the warzone".

This should give players second thoughts about deploying Trip Mines in the Gulag if they are equipped with them because you never know when a stray rock can blast your chance at respawning in the warzone to smithereens.
