Today marks a significant day as Minecraft finally introduces Godzilla, adding an exciting new dimension to the gaming experience.
The iconic King of Monsters, known as Gojira or Godzilla, has graced nearly 40 movies since his cinematic debut in 1954, including a couple of cartoon shows in the '80s. Now, he's entered the realm of Minecraft, rendered in blocks, wreaking havoc on our magnificent virtual cities – with only you and your friends standing a chance of thwarting him.
Crafted by the Japanese studio Team-KYO, the Godzilla Minecraft DLC unfolds in four adventures, each inspired by iconic Godzilla movies.
In addition to the gripping adventures, the DLC offers a rich tapestry of movie history and tributes. It begins appropriately in a cinema, allowing players to select their desired screening (adventure) as they embark on their journey. Diverse modes are available, including one where you must evade the rampaging reptile and another where you assume control of Gojira to unleash destruction, reminiscent of the best city-smashing escapades since the '80s arcade classic, Rampage (look it up).
