The Game Awards 2022 has finally returned, and along with it, various announcements and reveals for upcoming games. In this article, Gurugamer is going to showcase some of the biggest game reveals in the event, alongside their trailers.
Final Fantasy 16
Square Enix has revealed that Final Fantasy 16 will be released on June 22, 2023. Here's its Official Trailer in The Game Awards.
Final Fantasy XVI is an action role-playing game set in the fantasy world of Valisthea, where the people live in peace and prosperity thanks to mountains of crystal called the Mothercrystals. The world is controlled by six factions: the Grand Duchy of Rosaria, the Holy Empire of Sanbreque, the Kingdom of Waloed, the Dhalmekian Republic, the Iron Kingdom, and the Crystalline Dominion. A central part of the plot are the Eikons, summoned monsters controlled by or manifesting through humans called Dominants.
The main cast includes Clive Rosfield, Joshua Rosfield, and Jill Warrick. Clive is the firstborn child of the Archduke of Rosaria who embarks on a quest for revenge after tragic events involving the dark Eikon, Ifrit. Joshua Rosfield, Clive's younger brother, is the Dominant of the Eikon Phoenix and heir apparent to Rosaria. Jill Warrick, a former princess from the fallen Northern Territories, is Clive and Joshua's foster sister and confidant.
Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon
Elden Ring developer FromSoftware has officially announced Armored Core 6 for a 2023 release. Here's the trailer.
Armored Core is a third-person shooter mecha video game series developed by FromSoftware. The series centers on a silent protagonist who takes on work as a mercenary pilot in the far future, operating large robot combat units known as Armored Cores at the behest of corporate and private clients.
Hades 2
One of the best games in 2020 finally get a sequel. Supergiant Games is going to release it via Steam Early Access in 2023. Here's the reveal trailer.
Judas
This is the new game by Bioshock's creator Ken Levine. It looks to be a narrative-driven, single-player, first-person shooter similar to Bioshock. Here's the World Premiere trailer.
Death Stranding 2
Hideo Kojima revealed in The Game Awards that Death Stranding 2 is officially on the way. Here's the trailer.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty
Idris Elba will join Keanu Reeves in the cast of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. This expansion will come out in 2023. Here's the 2nd teaser.
Star Wars: Jedi Survivor
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released on March 17, 2023. The Game Awards gave us a brand new gameplay trailer that shows more of Cal Kestis' next adventure.
Diablo 4
Blizzard has officially announced that Diablo 4 will be released on June 6, 2023, and a public beta will take place sometime before then. Here's the release date trailer.
Street Fighter 6
The much-anticipated Street Fighter 6 will fight its way to a June 2, 2023, release date. Here's the trailer.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

Tekken 8
A new trailer for Tekken 8 has been released, bringing a long-dead character back to life.

Burning Shores DLC of Horizon Forbidden West will be released on April 19, 2023.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in 2023.

- Ascendant Studios announced Immortals of Aveum, a single-player magic shooter that takes place in an original world.
- Hellboy Web of Wyrd is a roguelite action adventure with an original story created in partnership with Dark Horse Comics and creator Mike Mignola.
- Celeste developer Extremely OK Games has shared a first-look trailer of its upcoming game, Earthblade, and has confirmed it will be released in 2024.
