SHIFT codes are alphanumeric keys released by Gearbox Software and 2K Games for Borderlands 4 players to redeem free in-game rewards. These include Golden Keys for high-rarity loot chests, character skins, cosmetics, and other bonuses.
Active SHIFT Codes (September 17, 2025)
Based on recent updates, here are the current active codes. Redeem them soon, as many are time-limited. Rewards are typically one Golden Key unless noted.

Additionally, check the Borderlands Discord "Quests" for a Golden Key by playing 15 minutes of Borderlands 4.
How to Redeem SHIFT Codes
- Create or log into a SHiFT account at shift.gearboxsoftware.com.
- Link your gaming platform (e.g., Steam, PlayStation) and 2K account if required via shift.gearboxsoftware.com/associations.
- Enter the code in the "Rewards" tab on the website or in-game under "Extras > SHiFT."
- Claim rewards from your in-game mailbox or inventory upon logging in.
Codes are case-sensitive and mostly one-time use per account. If a code fails, it may be expired or already redeemed.
