In Doom The Dark Ages, Wolf Statues are optional collectibles scattered across four chapters. Smashing all of them unlocks a special treasure you’d otherwise miss. They’re also linked to a mission challenge called "Hunter" in The Kar'thul Marshes, so finding them is key to hitting 100% completion in more ways than one.
You’ll find Wolf Statues in these four chapters, and you’ve got to break them with your Shield Throw to reveal the treasure:
- Chapter 6: The Siege Part 1 (3 Statues)
- Chapter 9: The Ancestral Forge (3 Statues)
- Chapter 16: The Kar'Thul Marshes (5 Statues)
- Chapter 20: Resurrection (4 Statues)
Wolf Statue Locations in The Siege Part 1
These are the easiest to find in Doom The Dark Ages. They’re more about teaching you the mechanic than being a real challenge. This chapter also introduces the Artillery Cannons, which you’ll see again in Resurrection. Here’s where to look:
- In a small crack under a fallen tree by a boulder.
- Around the back of the Shrine at the lower level.
- Up on some rocks overlooking the player.
Reward: 1x Ruby
Wolf Statue Locations in The Ancestral Forge
This chapter steps up the difficulty. You’ll need the level’s Secret Key, which we’ve marked on the map to make things easier. Here’s where they are:
- On a high cliff overlooking the Shrine.
- A reward for clearing a combat encounter, locked until you beat nearby enemies.
- Behind a gate near the level’s start, which needs the Secret Key to open.
Treasure: 1x Wraithstone
Wolf Statue Locations in The Kar'Thul Marshes
This chapter has the most statues, making it tougher. They’re tied to the "Hunter" challenge, so you get both the treasure and the challenge done by finding them all. Here’s where to check:
- At a dead end on a cliff edge to your left when you enter.
- To the right of the Shrine, down a tunnel.
- Next to a boulder in the swampy area, near a giant tentacle enemy.
- Off a cliff looking into the void.
- In a small hole after dropping past the gold.
Treasure: 1x Wraithstone (plus "Hunter" challenge completion)
Wolf Statue Locations in Resurrection
The last set of statues is in Chapter 20: Resurrection. There are fewer than in the Marshes, but they’re still tricky to track down. Here’s where they’re at:
- In an underground chamber off the main shrine, past a circle of cultists.
- Above a combat encounter on the opposite side of the map (you’ll need to take down a tough Mancubus).
- In an underground trench hidden under a bridge.
- On a cliff edge between two pieces of debris.
Treasure: 1x Wraithstone
