PUBG attracted millions of people because of the authentic real-life battle royale experience, which means shooting in the game is harder and need more calculation. When taking into account the bullet velocity and bullet travel time, hitting a target from a distance is extremely difficult, especially when they are driving a vehicle.

We all know that in order to hit the driver, we need to aim ahead of the vehicle, but how far? Let first take a look at the most common vehicles in PUBG, Buggy, UZA, and Dacia. While their lengths are different, the distance from the front of each vehicle to the driver seat is the same, approximately 2 meter.

The distance from the front of the vehicle to the driver seat is the same

This is how you can tell where to shoot at. Let say the target is 100 meters away, driving perpendicular to you at the speed of 80km/h, in order to hit the driver, you will need to shoot at the front bumper of the vehicle. Of course in real matches, people are not going to drive perpendicular to you all the time, but you can easily solve this by aiming a little closer the farther they are away from the perpendicular angle.

Aim at the front of the vehicle if they are 100m away

Applying the same rule, if they are driving faster than 80 km/h or are closer than 100 meters, you should aim slightly ahead. If they are farther away, for example, 200 meters, you need to aim 2 meters in front of the vehicle, the same distance from the front of the vehicle to the driver seat.

Aim 2 meters away from the front of the vehicle if they are 200 meters away

That being said, this trick only works for weapons with high bullet velocities like SCAR-L, M416, and M16A4 and you still need a lot of practice to do it perfectly. Furthermore, in real game situations, you only have less than a second to judge the distance and aim at the right place. But once you get used to it, you will find it extremely helpful.

Aim closer if they are not exactly perpendicular to you

Here is a quick rundown:

1.If the enemy is driving at relatively high speed at about 100 meters away, aim for the area around the front of the vehicle.

2.If they are closer, aim closer to the driver seat until you hit them.

3.At 200 meter away, aim 2 meters ahead of the vehicle, the same distance between the front of the vehicle and the driver seat.

4. This trick only works with Assault Rifles using 5.56 bullet or AWM Sniper Rifle.
